I just got two DF03RA chassis kits. After researching more and more about the weak point, I wonder if these pinions (18t/0.6m) will solve the weak point that many experienced. RevCo "Hard One" 0.6M Hardened Pinion Gear, 5mm Shaft Diameter 18T It states that 5mm shaft needs to"Note: If you have a Neu Motor - Neu motor shafts are .05mm over size. The solution to this is to run the motor at low rpm and touch a piece of 400grit sand paper against the shaft for a couple of seconds. Then the pinions fit perfectly. " Hopefully these $5ish parts and a little vise can prolong the problem!?

The XB Manta ray and neo top force chassis are like that. The center chassis and tub are slightly different. My old post poor mans manta ray ta01 has that chassis, but made into a rally car. manta ray rally car

Yes it is possible, but you have to fiddle with the sub trim (the "center" of the movement) and the travel adjustments (-1 and +1) limit. But you have to hold the position that you want it to go except the middle... -1 ish or +1 ish but the netural/center is where the servo stays when it is not used.

I got two dx3's on the bay and one dx3.0, but they are only transmitters, since I just got the DX3R, I'll play with it and see what I can do...

Try the sub trim or trim of the third channel?

Also the TNS cars came with the bottle and glow plug starter. The stock engine is great, I think it is designed by os and very durable. The chassis and parts are easy to find. TG10 mk.1 Tb01, and tl01b parts would be replacemenets/spares. I ran the dog dug out of my nitros trying to break something but just ended up just cleaning it, instead of repairing and cleaning. Plus the bigger and heavier they are the more damage they'll do...in other words I would suggest the mad spirit!!!
-
The mad spirit is basically the TNS car chassis and tl-01b arms...over 80% of it is tb01 or the nitro tg10. THe only difference is the middle chassis (top and bottom plates) the rest is the tg10 mk.1. I have a few tns xb car chassis and a few tg10 mk.1s, mad bison coverted to the truggy (mad spirit) and tb01s. Other wise the gear boxes and drive train is the tg10 mk.1

44021 Tg10 Mini Manual Wanted Please.even A Copy?
y2klogic replied to twisty's topic in Trade Archive
The tamiya website has the tg10 chassis manual, but listed as the tg10 mk1 pro. So this link should give you the right manual! http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=44020 -
This could be a great rally car. Tamiya 26mm tires are used for height reference!! Chassis came from a RTR manta ray, other parts came from a blazing star that was ball raced. Olny thing bought were the ta01 arms from tamiya and suspension mounts (front and rear gear case), and dog bones from tb01. The front has long shaft universal and rear has long tg10 axle. Side view Rear view Great dust/dirt/water cover!

Heres what you probably like... And heres how wide I made it with the long universal shaft, not arm set... -
TL-01B + TB-01 = TB-01B TGM-01 + TG10 = Truggy TD + TG10 = nitro truggy And so on...only tihng that you need extra are turn buckles, every suspension piece are interchangeable, but not TL to TB. Try to combine a tb01 with a baja king or a twin detonator...check out my old posts, or these pics... or a nitro version...

This website that I have been going to has a bunch of new Tamiyas for a decent to a good price. And also shipping isn't bad. I usually check the Tamiya website for the model number then go here: http://www.rocousa.com They also do international too, but I am not sure how much shipping is outside of the US. I think the best deal is the gas on road nitro kits...there is one for about $145 after shipping... Enjoy!!

After a few months building a few of these chassis I see interchangable parts that would make a new breed of chassis. Or a fun way to bash from nitro to electric or vise versa. Marry a tgm01 with a tg10 you get a nitro truggy tg10 + tl01b = nitro buggy tb01 + tl01b = elec buggy tb01 + twin detonator = elec monster truck The parts that need to breed these are just adjustable turn buckles. The lower arm parts, hubs and dog bones can be interchanged. But all you need are three sets of adjustable turn buckles. As for touring sedans hybrids, the arms would fit but dog bones and turn buckles are needed. Here are some tgm01 + tg10 and tb01 + tl01b pictures.
