  1. Welcome to the "If it goes don't bother touching it till next time" squad. You've probably noticed that Me and spudgunn are avid followers of the squad. The only water they see is the stuff we drive through not the stuff you wash with.
  2. Gutted at missing the bash. Unfortunately the fuel tank emptied at the same time as my wallet so I was left stranded at home. I'd like to say yes to the 11th but I'm expecting family get-together for Easter. Not sure if it includes Saturday yet. (Fingers crossed, I'm suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms since that wet day long ago at Snetterton.) Hope to see you all soon
  3. Any update on the show yet or are we waiting till end of April for details?
  4. How do we PM our email address tp you?
  5. I.m OK for that day too.
  6. Definitely interested in this. Building a Merc with lowloader at the moment and also a King Hauler. Bit of off-roading too, what more could anyone want. Of course "the Beer" goes without saying !!! Do you know how much the public camping would be if we can't camp next to the pitch?
  7. Me too. I'll pass the word round. I know four or five others who will be interested.
  8. Any of these dates sound good to me. It would be nice to get back to Red Lodge again.
  9. You can definitely put me down on the list. A weekend summer camp-over sound brilliant. 5 a day sounds reasonable too. Cafe. loo. BBQ, is there space for off-road too?
  10. After all the weather forecasts and low temperatures I think that all who attended had a great time. More of a mega photo shoot, but another enjoyable gathering of the Eastern Bashers.
  11. I wouldn't miss this one for all the tea in a teabag. Every meet we have throws up something new. Can't wait for this one.
  12. There is always potential for Lunchbox drifting, or rolling, or racing, or even drowning as has been proved at Red Lodge. That reminds me,, still haven;t tried mine after the last bash.
  13. I shall definitely be there. Spudgunn too. We know how quickly the weather can change so it could be worth waiting.
  14. Snetterton is essentially a flat tarmac racetrack for tourers but it can be as much fun with any vehicle. I think there may even be a few 1/14 scale trucks there. My blackfoot runs well there so long as you keep off the track as much as possible. There is a grass area and also a pond, so any vehicle or boat is fun. See you there.
  15. I'll try for the 25th too. Don't think I'm doing anything. I'll try and keep it clear.
  16. Yes. Keep a lookout and come and join us. New faces are always welcome.
  17. B****cks, Me too spudgunn will be here as well . One in January will be good for us. Snetterton suits us. We also have cars rearing to go. Be interesting to see how well after the last bash. Bit cold and moist if I remember correctly!!!
  18. Me too. See if I can get spudgunn along with me.
  19. Well, here we are back home after another brilliant bash at Red Lodge. Body temperature has finally climbed back up to normal and the feeling is back in the extremities. Photos have been taken off the camera and the video has been downloaded. Now to get to work so you can see what we got up to. If you look in my showroom the pics are there for you to see.
  20. Me too. Missed the last one I'm good for a Christmas bash too.
  21. If you have the white bodyshell that comes with the kit then your only limit is your imagination. You can use any aerosol paint from Halfords, Wilco, Focus, Homebase or other store. Most are enamel based and most have been used by myself or freinds. The colour range is unlimited. If a car manufacturer uses it so can you. This includes plain, metalflake, pearlescent, hi-gloss enamels for fridges or radiators, and now even suede or leather effect from Focus or Homebase. When you have the desired effect, and after applying any decals or vynils then a few coats of laquer to seal all and the jobs done. Your biggest problem is deciding what colour. Good luck.
