  1. Man, I wish it will be on the first week of September. I'll be available by then []..
  2. Well, finally here are the pics of my TA01 Hummer chassis with the newer H2 body. Had to do one last modification to get more ground clearance. The set-up is very rigid. I gained about 6/8 - 7/8 of an inch in ground clearance in the middle with stock wheels. With the big wheels, I think the pics says it all. A set of shaft joints are on the way from Tower to beef up the main shaft. I already have a 55T lathe motor waiting along with an aluminum motor mount, high frequency Mtroniks ESC, and a 3 channel receiver for my remote light switch. Gotta have the little buddy around []..
  3. Thanks for the info. I will surely look into that tonight. I should've taken pictures of my chassis but I was just too way into it. I'll let the pictures explain later what I've been doing to my chassis []..
  4. Searched for the Tamiya Hummer on Yahoo and that's when I became a freak [].
  5. Anybody here can share info about their modified TA01/TA02 truck chassis. I'm currently working on a Hummer chassis project http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...id=31065&id=871. I'm working on increasing the ground clearance for trailing and a little bit of rock crawling. I will be using a lathe motor for my torque and slower speed..
  6. I would be very interested to go if there is another meet. I totally missed out on the last one you guys had. I have a desert Hummer and a project Hummer H2 I'd like to bash around the sand.
  7. Hi, I'm just wondering what the wheelbase is on this chassis? I'm thinkin about putting a Nikko Ford F150 Body on it. Thanks..
  8. Hey Nismospeed, you want some real speed??? I had a Peak 6-Turn motor, Novak Cyclone ESC, and some 3000's(in Yokomo YR4M2-Pro). My car ate some nitros for breakfast. The only sucky thing though is that I had to change brushes every 5 runs! So I went Brushless! I have it in a new TB Evo II powered by a Hacker Master Competition Controller/Lehner Basic 5300 motor. I added 1/8 scale wheels and lowered the suspension. It still eats some nitros(with 2 speed tranny) for breakfast []..
  9. If you have any ideas and maybe I could be of some help, just feel free to e-mail me [].. Hope this happens someday! [8D]
  10. I'm just wondering if anybody out there would like to set an off-road jamboree or meeting of some sort in Sunny Southern Cali [8D]. Been kinda bored trailing by myself. Or maybe there are some over here and I'm just not aware of it [?]. Let this be a chance to bring out them Bruisers, Mountaineers, Pajeros, Isuzu MU's, Hummers/Humvees, CRV's, Chevy S-10/Prerunner.. get my drift???
