does anyone know if the midnight pumpkin body was used on another chassis? prior to the original pumpkin release?

i know this is'nt a tamiya or a mk2 but its awsome all the same!! he made the body from scratch, i think its 1 5th scale [media=] [/media]

im a bit miffed the week i did'nt go to our boat club meet my mate was GIVEN these to babies by one of the older members who got it from someones garage clear out! boomer in good condition just needs a little service and new tyres, has original mechanical speed controller ect and this pretty much mint all over!! barely used if used at all!! im gutted but he is very happy lol jammy sod!

cool thanks for that , yeah there are new hump pack ones on ebay 3700 NiMH for £17 , its my friends car he also has an old 240z which takes the same battery i think so he will probly go down that route

right we have the said kit now and nearly built, having issues with the box where all the electrics go, prob is the battery wont fit! standered 6 cell , should it be a hump back type? can someone post a pic of there layout please ?

im near stroud , me and my mate would like to meet up sometime for a local meet, for him it needs to be wheelchair friendly, we also want to pay a visit to GERCC (Gloucester electric racing car club) they meet every friday at Insworth comunity hall http://www.gercc.co.uk/ one of the blokes in our boat club goes there he said anyone is welcome , we might actually get there one day!!

joys of livng alone i guess,but i live in a 2 bed bungalow one bedroom is mine the other is my daughters when she stay's so all my rc'ing gets done in the lounge or kitchen, 2 metres of worktop is taken up with boats and cars lol the rest live on shelves in lounge and the boxes are kept on top of wardrobe u should see the state of my mats place you can't even see his cooker!!! lmao!!! he has a woman but she does'nt live with him i met him 6 years ago he was into boats and had no cars and me visa versa , now he has about 12 cars lol (mostly tamiya z cars and i have 2 boats! i do have a shed with workbench and even tho i live ina fiarly decent area i like my rc stuff where i can see it at all times

yeah will be the kit to give me somehting to build they had a madrat on display in my local model shop and i loved the look of it so probly go with that i just fancy a buggy as all my cars are bodied cars plus the pumpkin , i want a buggy to blast on the beach ect cheers

i want a cheap buggy to bash ideally a rising storm but cant really afford it atm so was thinking of a ansmann madrat or macnum but cant decide anyone got either of these if so what they like?

cant beat that new kit smell after reading this thread i really need a kit to built not had one for about 2 years

when u lift the car up and spin the wheel u can see the tyre isnt round lol my mate has lunchi and 2 of his tyres are good and 2 are wobbly but all mine seem to be wobbly!! with it being so free running with ballraces the wheel always settles in the same place . im gonna try some weights and if it helps then i will glue them as i have had probs with tyres coming off with standered motor so i think its gonna be worse with the new motor lol. have only run it once so far tho. would like some other wheels tho with lower profile tyres for some speed and stablility

well atm me and my friend have an aggrememnt that if he goes first then i will give his mrs a ball park figure for all his models before his sister comes and robs them all and probly just bn them and if i go first he will give my daughter money for all my kit

thought about sticking some kind of weight on the inside of the tyre to balance it out? can anyone tell me some other wheels that would fir that are the same kinda size but lower profile tyre?

Hi put a 19 turn motor in my metalic pumpkin today. made it a bit faster lol but the front wheels wobble like mad with the extra speed any ideas how i can overcome this? i think its the tyres not being quite round Carl

My mate finished his tyrell today all but the driver to be painted now. taken him several weeks cos he is laid up in bed atm and can only do small bits at a time, the body was a right head ache he said to get trimmed nice but he got there in the end pics are a bit low rent taken under artificail light with my mobile as my daughter trashed my digital camara it is the right colour it just doesnt show lol does anyone know where we can get some rear wheels and tyres cos he wants a set for one of his 300zx's iv looked on ebay there are some but they are the wrong ones, the kit comes with 2 types of rear wheel and you use the normal looking wheel as apposed to the other type with pinchies in the middle of the rim if u get my meaning

neither are very pretty the bmw i picked up for 20 quid with some spares including 2 quick motors which i will be trying out in my pumpkin maybe just put new gears in it as they were egged shaped but it just a basher in the street im not making it pretty it might even get used for a project yet . the mini now has a new chassis and all nice and clean and will be getting new body and wheels at some point! it does have a slightly hopped up motor and bull raced i love it , my mate has the monte carlo one and they are great fun together
