  1. works a treat again front wheel decided to come un attatched and roll off down the road tho the stub axel came apart again i tried fixing it with jb weld but it didnt hold so have just ordered some from fleabay 10!!!
  2. i think iv solved the prob it seems ok testing in the house its dark out so have to wait till tomorrow now . in my haste i may have put one of the burshes in back to front so the little springy thing was'nt pushing it in enough
  3. hmmm well when i tested it on the other esc i just plugged the motor into the other car so didnt use any of the electrics on the brat for the test thanks for all your suggestions but keep em coming
  4. i tried a different speed controller out my ffo1 mondeo but it was the same.

Hi i have a tamiya super stock TZ in my brat, it started playing up the other week when the car came to a halt it wouldnt accelerate away again but if u gave the car a nidge it would go, i checked the brushes they looked quite owrn down so i ordered some new ones and had to wait 2 weeks for them from model sport, they came today and i fitted them but its still the same what else could it be ???   6. In about 1989 i had a grasshopper and back in those days as we all know we only had MSC well as my battery went down i lost control and it went under the rear wheel of a passing sierra! body was in about 4 bits but chassis was ok! it lived on

  9. im not that knowledgable but my brat has a tamiya super stock TZ and it goes very well with no probs apart from the thing needing new brushes atm
  10. yeah i have to agree although theres plenty i like i have a grasshopper and love it to bits. i also had a madbull which i regret selling so might buy a new one to build but my next purchase is a pumpkin to bash with my mates lunchbox

  15. i have a grasshopper with 540 and ballraced plus a brat with tamiya super stock TZ and f150 with tuned orion motor . My charger does have the ciggy lighter adaptor on it so i guess i can charg from the car but not sure how long it takes My batteries ar 3300 so not to bad

Hi iv been browsing this forum for a while now but not posted as i seemed to have log in probs but sorted now i would really like to attend some meets at some point when there is one close enough just wondering how many batteries you usually take to a meet? i hav'nt got a great income and only have 3 batteries at present so i would only get an hour or so run time depending on what car i use ect carl
  18. I have a re re grasshopper,i fitted standered 540 motor and run it with 3300 pack , i get about 20 mins and its quite quick, i did try a faster motor but it was to fast for the basic set up of the car bounced about to much and kept changing direction
