  1. I have 5 of those, but just checked, and every single one has a crack, to some degree. I would suggest following the above advice.
  2. Lola T94/00 Honda. This is on an F103l, chassis. This was a project, that I haven't got round to finishing. There is a new silver can, and ESC in there, the rear end has been cleaned, and rebuilt. The front end needs cleaning up, and the N.I.P. springs fitting. Comes with the manual, and the big wing set. Only looking to get back what I have put into it. £75, collection only, from NG20 area.
  3. Knowing Tamiya, if they went hex, they would make them imperial, instead of metric.
  4. Well you learn something new every day. This may explain why people say Tamiya screws get chewed up easily. This article is about motorbikes, but is equally applicable to Japanese RC screws. In short, instead of using posidrive, or phillips, screwdrivers, we should be using JIS headed drivers. http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-tools/jis-screwdrivers/
  5. Slightly damp? You took it swimming. Good advice, nice thread.
  6. Variable rate, NIMH and NI-CAD, charger, has loads of charge adapters. Comes with 4 NIMH batteries, only had between 3 and 6 charges each, so are all like new. Collection only from NG20 area. £35.
  7. Will a 10 turn brushless work ok in a DF02. Or will I find it lacking in torque, due to it being a 380 motor, in a 540 size can?

    F103L

I am very happy with this. I only paid £50. Got the spare, large wings. And the manual. The body, and tyres, that need replacing. The missing parts appear to to be, front springs, and a few screws. I am very happy with it.

    F103L

    Yes it's our Nigel
  10. My Brat had a 21x2, and the medium gearing. I wouldn't have wanted it any faster.

    F103L

Yes it is. Finding a new body will be fun.
  12. I collect this tomorrow.
  13. Thanks, that helps. This LIPO and brushless stuff is hard. Give me a Tamiya sport tuned motor, and a 5600 NIMH, I know what I'm doing then.
  14. I have a 2wd shortcourse truck, it does 33MPH, with the included 3000, 8.4v battery, and 12 turn 550, brushed motor. How can I work out what these changes would do to the speed? 2s 5600 LIPO. 10 turn brushless motor, with 2s 5600 lipo. 10 turn brushless motor, with 3s LIPO. Is this something that can be worked out, or is it just try it and see? 20 tooth pinion, 84 tooth spur gear.
  15. Definatly the right place for it. That is so far beyond my video.
  16. At least you didn't refer to it as a bra, as someone on another forum did.
  17. Guys and girls, I regret that my wife's health has taken a turn for the worse. As well as forcing me to sell most of my collection, I no longer have time to finish this project. However, i_am_scarecrow has offered to take on the project, he already has some ideas, and I will be posting it to him some time this week. Very sorry I couldn't get it finished, but we will get there in the end. The money raised will still be going to SENSE.

CC01 Land Rover. The chassis has had the brick cut off, it running a waterproof ESC, and a 55 turn motor. It has Landy type wheels, with nice soft tyres. The body is METAL, complete with roll cage. Just needs 7mm shorter rear links, and a receiver. £200, no trades. Collection only from NG20 area. More stuff to be listed later. TA with a Blackfoot body, body just needs mounts making, and a receiver. Body only rested on chassis for pictures. Locked rear diff, ball diff up front, ideal for scaler, or drifter. 35t motor, waterproof ESC. £65, no trades. Postage will be £12. 5 mixed Tamiya pinions, £6 posted. TA chassis, comes with silver can motor, and servo, can be built as 2 different wheelbases, as shown in the pictures. £30 posted.
  19. I acquired another CC01 this weekend. But it's a little rough. Steering servo not screwed in. Top shock mounts not attached. Gear cover held in with wood screws. No idea what they were thinking with the rear shocks. Screws missing, and miss matched parts. Nice motor mount though. One wheel painted. Let the rebuild begin.
  20. I had it in my head that it was fwd, M05, thanks for the correction.
