  1. As Prescient suggested... Next step, make it waterproof.. :-)
  2. Because it hasnt rain for months and I have do drive for hours to reach the right place for such pics... But I promise soon there will be many such pics... :-) Thank you all guys for your comments and ideas about how to make it look better! :-) Stamatis
  3. Had to find out! So here is how it looks, wide and narrow version side by side. Imo the wide one looks much better. What do you think?
  4. I thought about making it a little bit narrower. But the only way to achieve this is to replace arms, dogbones etc with sorter ones, which costs, and then again, wheels would rub on the wheel arches and overall it woundnt be as stable as it is now. Then I'd have to limit the suspension travel which I prefer as it is now. Different offset wheels is not an option, it wouldnt look right. I ll post some new pics tomorrow to see what I mean.
  5. Thank you very much Chris. I am looking for 4mm ball ones, you probably refer to item # 9804381 or 9804543, both are 5x9. Tamiya doesnt seem to make what I am looking for. Anyway, I used some M3 8mm long spacers which was the easiest alternative. Thanks again, Stamatis
  6. Not that kind of bouncing, the other one ;-) When weight is too much. I cant express it, sorry ;-) I think they are 3 Racing ones. and I dont recommend them, they bend easily. Well, there was a topic a decade ago on rcdaggerweb.com about all these, Tamiya are the best and strongest ones by far.
  7. I am afraid I cant answer that yet, at least completely. It hasnt rain for weeks now. The tires are awesome for rock crawling or wet sand, but too narrow and tall for hard surfaces, cornering or high speed driving. Spings are soft too, so it bounces a little bit. I love these trucks though, with minor mods are capable of anything!
  8. Hi, I always wanted one of these trucks, but also I couldnt affort to spend a fortune to get and upgrade one. So I decided to go that way and transform one of my WT-01 trucks to something that looks like it. Alloy arms, and shock towers from GPM, DF-03 CVDs, Gmade shocks alloy servo mounts was the first thing. Then some alloy beadlock wheels and RC4WD 1.9" Mud Bashers (thanks ILUVMUD!). Finally a Hobbywing Quicrun WP860 dual motor waterproof esc and a TT-02 receiver box at the front as the receiver has to be protected too. And here it is!
  9. Hi, I think I have what you're looking for ;-) PM me address etc.... Stamatis
  10. Thanks but I think they are M2.6. I keep trying to spot on the internet the kind I need but with no luck so far... :-( So I am thinking of using a male/female spacer and use the standard short ones I already have..
  11. Hi, I really dont know if such a thing exists but I desperately need a pair of 4mm ball connectors with 8mm to 10mm long M3 thread in black or silver colour. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks, Stamatis
  12. Personally I tried RWD brushless, 4WD, 4WS, and any other possible setup. A brushless 10.5T RWD setup and stock silver can 4WD setup are what I now use in all of them. Anything else is too fast or too heavy or hard to drive. Just my opinion.
  13. Once I tried that on one of my Daggers, then got rid of it a week later. Just makes the car uncontrolable at average/high speeds due to wrong steering geometry. Personally, I wouldnt recommend it.
  14. I have really no idea about their brushless set, but a brushed 55T one I have is just awesome! I have to say only good things about it!
  15. Hi, For sale two pairs, new condition. Asking 35 euros, shipped worldwide with tracking number. PP gift or bank transfer. Thanks for looking, Stamatis
  16. Guess what my next project will be... With black 1.9 wheels and a military truck body, that is something I've always wanted...
  17. Hi, For sale 4pcs white wheels (adjustable offset) and Cayenne tires (28x78mm - item #9805543), in mint condition, asking 20 euros shipped, PP gift. Thank for looking, Stamatis
  18. Hi, FS two pairs of GPM black alloy tlt-1 wheels and tires in mint condition. Asking 50 euros including shipping, PP gift, can ship worldwide. Let me know if you are interested ;-) Stamatis
  19. Oh, that was a nice approach of my issue! So it seems like an easy fix then! Thanks!
  20. No smoke nor polluted enviroment. Probably the rubber causes it, as it is only around them and not in the center. Of course I got some even worse examples, like a set of white M-wheels that now are yellowish. Rally Tamiya tires usually cause that.
