Well the 550 one is a 15T 2200kV by Dynamite. The brushless is an LRP Eraser 10.5t, I think about 4100kv. I ran the 550 motor in my stock Pro Boat Miss geico 24" on 8.4V till the brushes went off on the fifth pack... So I was wondering if I could use the brushless one I have as an alternative. Still I dont know if the shafts have the same diameter...

Any idea which is faster and with more torque? Need a replacement for my boat's 550 15T and I have one LRP combo available... Will it be faster with brushless? And are marine motors are specially designed? Thanks, Stamatis

Hmmm, yes, quite the same... :-( I was wondering if warranty covers such things...

My 5yo son and his friends tested the Overlander during a week's vacation, on rocks, sand, even saltwater for 2, 3, maybe 4 hours daily for the last six days... Completely stock, just a 80T motor (very low top speed, so zero heat, more playing time and less damage), oil shocks, ball bearings and RC4WD wheels and tires with no inserts for better grip and more absorption. After thousands of any kind of crash tests, many drivers and hours of abuse, it is still in perfect condition! Didn't expect that - this chassis is really "bulletproof"! So, I really recommend it to anyone who looks for something similar... Cheers, Stamatis

The boat is totally stock. Motor has some cooling, but battery and esc have not. Also everything is sealed so it is complcated to add some cooling, at least an air flow one... It is not getting overheated to the point of melting, but in a way hotter to what I am used to consider hot with car batteries... Could be it was the first run?... Thanks guys for your replies... This battery is supposed to power a 15T 550 motor of Miss Geico 24" boat. Stock 7.2V 2400mAh lasts less than 10 minutes medium speed and becomes really hot after some seconds of full throttle... So probably the winner is... Vapextech! Stamatis
