I am not a fan of signatures, especially not ones with images in them. Whenever possible I turn off sigs, and adblock all the images. I feel that if what you have to say in your signature is so absolutely stunningly interesting to everyone who reads every post you make (doubtful), then perhaps you can cut and paste it into every single post that you've made. Otherwise, you're just adding to visual pollution and making threads harder to read, as you have to jump past repeated blocks of text. Signatures are often interesting to the people who write them, but rarely to anybody else, after they've read it once.

Monte Carlo Rally Mini taught me that MSC's will stay on full when the battery gets low if you're not running a receiver battery pack. Also that if you don't use the car for years, the MSC will also stick on. Sometimes I wonder why I never got around to putting an ESC into that car (it still doesn't have one).

Still splashing the Pajero shell in brake fluid ... discovered somebody used body filler on the roof to fill in the rear contours. [baffled]

Drat... other threads suggest the XB Rally car is a Cayenne jellymould based on a TT01 chassis, not a new revision for the XC01

Sorry, to be clearer ... "without seeing what they actually look like, I may be interested" Rather than "if these exist I am interested" Especially if the XB Rally SUV has an interesting bodyshell.... as I think the g/f would have some form of psychotic episode if I spent lots of money on a three speed. It made sense in my head.

Those two possibilities slightly intrigue me

Rotated Pajero shell in its lasagne tray full of brake fluid. Gold paint gradually coming off. Turns out it was a metallic blue under that gunk.

My guess: some buggy I don't have an interest in My wish: hardbody XC of some variety.

Purchased large Lasagne dish. Extremely derelict looking Pajero Metaltop Wide is now splashing around in the Lasagne dish (which is full of brake fluid, not lasagne). Hopefully the horrendous thick layer of gold paint might come off. God only knows what will be found under that though, as it looks like somebody has been using body filler all over it ... eeeeek!!!

XXCR sold today ... that's my only RC related item of news.

Put my Losi XXCR up for sale Got a large bottle of used brake fluid for dunking the extremely used and abused Pajero hardtop shell into. Got a friend to solder Deans plugs onto a couple of ESC's for me Pulled the radio gear out of my M01 to make my Hummer into a runner. Need the black arm off the servo with a ball cup fitting on it, and the ball cup. Also, need to figure out how the springy metal arial on the Hummer will work with the wire that comes with recievers. So, what did you do today?

Sold the old TA02 Chevy, and put it into a box to go to its new owner.

To me, the re releases are realistically the only way I can collect the nostalgia kits to be able to use them as they are intended. So it isn't killing the collecting bug for me, it is the only way I can feed the bug. I immediately purchased a Brat on re-release, and if they re-released a Scorcher, or any of the hardbody CC01's I'd order one of those in a flash.

I have the same policy, but, as they're all coming through the living room for me to take photo's of them so I can sell them ... well, it is a little hard to disguise how many I have accumulated. She commented "I didn't realise you had THIS many". Lucky she doesn't realise there's another six in the garage, only some of which she knows about

Losi Mini LST and TB01 both sold to the same guy at auction, so I'm going to package all that up tonight and ship it off to him tomorrow. Plus send him info about the various other RC's in the garage that I am about to start selling off. Discovered that the female half thinks I should be spending all the proceeds of RC cars on a present for her. Meantime, I'm looking at my weekend fun car (MR2 supercharged) and thinking that any additional funds might be well spent on some suspension work on that car. I predict an upcoming discussion about these conflicting ideas for spending...

Put a TB01 rally car, and Losi mini LST up for sale. Figured it's pretty obvious I'm never going to do a thing to them, so might as well cash up and get some more garage space out of it. Losi XXCR, Hummer, and a bodyless TA01 (?) Stadium truck next on the market. I can then actually get around to building the Touareg and Brat, possibly resto the Pajero hardtop basket case.

I love those Ignis Sports! A friend of mine rally's one. Good little car.

I believe the kit comes with the rear locker only. Sorry, mine is sitting unbuilt in my garage so I can't answer with total confidence.

The Touareg is a long wheelbase version of the XC01 (Wrangler etc). Longer driveshaft, otherwise I believe the same. The tub has both long and short wheelbase mounting holes already on it, so you just change where you attach the rear axle.
