Yeah thats true teu 101 can be glitchy at times. I have to set my brakes to around 80% power and it did the trick. btw scoobyryan i got the same kit as well.

I have replaced the tamiya connectors with deans. Yeah I have those tamiya connectors melt on me heaps of times. Btw it is not really that hard to install dean connectors just alittle high temperature soldering iron, solder, third arm and alot of patience would do the trick.
