  1. Does it have to be shrink wrap? A mate of mines dad made a hump pack into a stick pack and just used insulation tape to wrap it.
  2. Fair enough, Ill look at buying one in a week or two then.
  3. Ive seen the body set of a 155 going for 25, but in the case of the Lancia I could proberly get it for around the 20 from Time Tunnel then if its in production. I do need to know what is too much for a 155 shell though.
  4. Sorry to keep pestering you all with questions but can anyone tell me the going rate of a Martini Alfa Romeo 155 V6 body? I was thinking of getting one for my Rally project when funds have built up again as Sega Touring car caused me to fall in love with this car. Also what about a Martini Lancia Delta? You can blame Sega for that one to, in sega rally of course
  5. Right, the car is sorted now and Ive just got to get the cheque out on its way.
  6. Unfortunately my Local equivelent wised up, a 1/10th evolution series viper was on sale in there for 35, a Tamiya will proberbly double that
  7. Sorry Dazzza, but Ive have already been offerd a TA-01, but I will think about it though as your offer is a fiver cheaper. Quick question, has anyone ever tried sticking a Parma Chevy body on a Rally chassis? Im just kinda worried its going to beach the car Although the Falco and the Kyosho will rain supreme on the uber rough stuff.
  8. I most likely am now getting a TA-01, which from what Ive seen is like the TA-02 so power wise it should be capable of the same shouldnt it?
  9. Ive sent you a reply about it, but I have been already offerd a TA-01. On the note of a TL-01 I really cant say its that much of an offroader as my mate has one and it got a tad stuck on short grass
  10. Alright then, the highest I can now go is 35 but I still having no luck on ebay, Ive found a couple of cars in my budget but with nearly a week to go on them till auction end they are proberly going to rocket as on is a Hopped HPI Sprint and the other is a Escort Cosworth. So can anyone offer me a ratty Rally car?
  11. I wasnt looking for decent at all, just a basic car to some exstent. Buggies wise Im kinda attached to them and the only one I would have been happy to let go has been canibalised for its Radio and ESC. If the car was within reasonable Distance from stevenage I'd come and get it cutting out shipping 100%. I could manage 30-35 I think but It will mean I cant go out for a while.
  12. No luck with the body name search either, only a Focus and Escort came in my Budget and I cant do the payment methods for either of them. The build it Magazine cars popped up aswell but I havent got a good parts base near by although saying that Im screwed with the Falcon aswell
  13. I dont know of any auction sites other than Ebay, Ill look up and try the Body names through there, Im also one to scout the Local papers but nothing has come up so far Its a shame Im not looking for another buggy because thats what there seems to be in my budget.
  14. Lost out on it as it went out of my Current and rather pathetic budget of 20, its buggys galore on Ebay at the moment but fudge all Rally cars. Now begins the hunt for a tatty runner
  15. Ive got buggies out of my ears so I want something a little different fo my off road antics but there is a slight hitch, Ive got naff all money. So Im asking nicely if someone could hook me up with a scruffy Rally car that I can get parts for. All I want is a solid chassis, with as much bits strapped to it as possible in either 1/10 or 1/12. Bits that I really am botherd about is of course gear box and shafts (Not botherd if its 4WD or RWD) and a MSC or ESC of some sort. Ive got Wheels and a body and possibly some radio gear. I havent got much to trade R/C wise but I am an avid Retro Gamer so I have a few games to trade. Thanks
  16. Well you've got first dibs then, as I havent won it yet. If I can get it to catch 50mph then it will keep up on a straight with quite a few Nitros around here on the straights. Ill proberly store the cossie body though and put the Parma Chevy body Ive got on it.
  17. Thanks for that, I now know the car is defineatly a TA-02 and it can go brushless power wise although I dont think I can afford to go that mad. Definatly capable of being a Nitro eater
  18. Im bidding on one on ebay right now and I just wanted to know if this thing could handle anything with a spurt of speed in it without dying an exsplosive death? The seller seems unsure on the chassis by appearence of the description so its either a TA-02 or a TL-02, either way it would be good to see it keeping pace with a nitro or overtaking it.
  19. I run a Falcon as my main car, I dont see the point of having something I wont use
  20. The problem was with the gear teeth stripping and wearing fast, proberly due to brakeing and skiding round corners although the ESC that Ive bunged init might help a little with that. The main thing I really need to sort is those blasted dog bones and cups, they would proberly be better off if they were made of metal. If you can point me in the direction of some of the aftermarket ones I would be very grateful So far though the rest of the car has been good to me, Ive even had people belive it was a nitro due to its performance. Not bad for a kit that was built 19 years ago this year, before my parents had me
  21. Ive mispelt it aswell its throp not thrope, Ive tried to google what the exact parts are put Im getting the usual reviews of the car itself or Ebay links.
  22. I dunno quite what it was then but Ive heard Diffs mentiond and Ive seen people using far better set ups than the stock dogbone. I just want a go anywhere Falcon basically, If someone could make these parts for a price within reason I will be over the moon.
  23. Its real awkward with my Falcon now running a 15t in it, as it eats the stock gears for breakfast. I have seen and heard of the elusive Thrope gear sets but I have yet to find one on ebay uk or at an affordable price, so perhaps maybe a kind TC member who has acess to Machine tools can manufacure a few again? I dont know about anyone else but Id be willing to buy a set for my Falcon if it stops gears being worn double time and the dog bones falling out.
  24. It appears Paypal only works with cards or bank via Direct Debit through the UK one. Id kill for a set of wheels like that on my Falcon, but Im not allowed near the CNC machine to make any
