new motors for my twin det
Martin71RS replied to a topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
You will probably need 1 forward and 1 reverse motor since they will be turning in different directions.... (timing) or a set of motors with 0 degrees timing just like the stock motors....otherwise 1 motor will be more efficient then the other and it will run hotter/energy loss/lower speed etc.... Martin -
Does the transmission come pre-assembled? (I hope not) kit looks great...I need to start saving!

Cool thread and nice artwork! free to use mine if you can make something out of it..... Martin

The Netsmith appreciation thread
Martin71RS replied to richytanimal's topic in Tamiyaclub Rules and Site Usage
I still think his April's fool joke last year was better [][] just pulling your chain mate.....you know we all (or at least most of us) appreciate all your hard work. Martin. -

Something like this you mean... [] http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...128&sid=947 This is probably the only car I will never sell...it has a history and it is so much fun to run.

[] Don't worry 3 posts ago you didn't even know about the delay??? [*-)][8-)] I never said "I did not know about the delay" I simply posted "Not sure where your getting that from? I see no mention of a delay on that page." because the link given was Bad Request Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request. If you want to worry about it feel free... I was simply telling you not to worry. next time I will keep my trap shut and let you worry. Please do so, I worry more with the often wrong infos from Tamiyausa, if I need ambigoous answers like you gave several in this thread, I can go to a fortuneteller, its always easy to say I know but I won't/can't tell you, rather don't say anything at all then (since anyway your "news" always came in second) Cheers Theo, can't we all just get along...no need react this way is there?? I guess we are all waiting impatiently for the F350 release....and a lot of assumptions have been made in this thread from day 1....don't take it all too serious...they are just TOYS!! [] Martin

Brushless Carbon Jugg
Martin71RS replied to Lemming's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
I bought the chassis from the US and parted out a jugg for the drivetrain... put full bearings and TXT shocks on it and SS metric nuts and bolts. Then it went to Ben (madmonster) and I saw he sold it on ebay...I even bid on it to get it back [] Indeed funny how things go around here on TC... I had a set of LRP motors in it...I think they are 21 Turns....not sure though... I would go brushless too! I had a SS5800 set and it was great! Martin -

M03 Moke project- almost done
Martin71RS replied to Old Busted Hotness's topic in General discussions
RESPECT!!! Very nice build! Martin -
"Seems a little pointless unless you do something pretty radical like a rear mounted (2WD buggy style) motor for increased traction to try and get the power down." have you ever thought of mounting the gearbox backwards....?? or is that the easy way? Fun project, just noticed it now since I don't visit the racing forum much (or at all [:$] )... Martin
