  1. Looks like a nice dampers set. Anyone know if they would fit other tamiya buggies? Was thinking they might be a good upgrade for the SRB
  2. Thanks for the info. Think I'll seal the gearbox and maybe the radio box. Is it worth sealing the shocks like in the old manual? Maybe this would stop them leaking
  3. Hi, prior to starting the build of my sand scorcher 2010 I downloaded the original (vintage) manual and have noticed a few differences in the build instructions compared to the 2010 manual. Most of the differences are regarding the use of sealant on various parts including the wheels and other areas, also thread lock on the wheel nuts + other parts, where as the 2010 manual it's not suggested. Is the original manual a more thorough build, or are the additional steps in the 2010 not really needed? Thanks, any advice appreciated.
  4. Thanks for the replies everyone, sounds doubtful they will fit without reducing the diameter of the tube. Maybe I'll buy a set and give it ago. Thanks again. Wedders.
  5. Anyone know if the Super Hornet, GrassHopper 2 front suspension arms fit the Hornet chassis? I'd like to fit oil shocks and looking at the manual the Super Hornet arms have lower mounting points, allowing the fitment of a longer shock. If anyone know it would be much appreciated. Cheers, Wedders.
  6. Thanks for the advice Teej84, I'll give the spray mount a go. I'm trying to stick a MK1 grill on my mini but it seems to have lost it's stickyness.
  7. Hi, can anybody recommend a glue for re-sticking lifted decals on lexan shells. I'm worried super glue might eat into the decals and/or the lexan. Maybe a pritstick would do the trick? Thanks, Wedders.
