  1. I rcalled years back Kyosho made a chassis (and the shell ) exactly like this in early 80's . So this may be a re-branded Kyosho or something from that origin...

    Rc Bus

Hi Richard, This bus I recalled is hand made using 1/14 Tamiya Truck as chassis and is quite popular in Hong Kong amonst bus lovers who have the skill of making their other part of the chassis out of cardboard, plastic , alcylic sheet...etc. The bus in picture is for CityBus company in Hong Kong and is not of any Japanese town or buses companies. Some of these maker of these buses are themselves either working in the Bus company, or bus driver themselves., while other are typical bus fans and wants a working model out of what they saw day in /day.
  3. I always think TT01 is a good basic design for a shaft car, although if play by the formula of economy rules one would choice to purchase a TB-EVO(3) OR TB-EVO(5), and a lot would say wait for the TT01-E. But then, it is nothing wrong if you are not play by reference to common values, and you could find this 3-racing conversion kit is unique in its own right. Comments from player's in my local area had indicate some minor areas that need to fix up., and it is inherited the basic characteristics of the original design, such as the location of battery and motor., the final-drive ratio...etc. But it's interesting to me that 3-racing take the risk to bring out this chassis conversion kit., my feeling is this being an attempt to 3-racing's next step of maybe design a complete new chassis. For comparision, the Tech Racing 4WD kit , and the FRP/CFRP chassis kits for M01 had regarded as 'collectible item' now a days, and I certainly wish I could have purchase one of those kits when they were easily obtainable. Thus I would also think it's possible in future time one review this 3-racing kits the same as well.
  4. I also make such a conversion from M01 to M02. I found that M02 is more fun to drive. Due to the play in various suspension components, the FWD is less precise in terms of steering. Ofcourse I can hopup and reduce that but using the same component and make M02, the whole chassis is more drivable and precise.
  5. My guess would be torque steer. It'll always be 'drift' to one direction (right direction) when accerate hard. Torque steer is a design issue (of the chassis) and could be reduced with tuning the springs,tires....etc. but cannot be completely eliminated.
  6. Hi It is basically a Gyro. It helps me who's new to have a feel of drifting . It is arguable if this device helps. Because with it, almost anyone could drift (to a certain extend). Just point into the direction, and with a proper 'delay' the device induce a counter - steering to stabilize the car. Once you got a feel of it, then there seems to be no point of having this device.
  7. Would be amongst one of those : * 1/10RCC Rayburg NSX 2007(TA05-IFS) * 1/10RCC Mini Cooper S 2006 * A 1/10RCC neo-falcon (DT-02) * 1/10RCC ??? COPPERMIX Silvia(TB -02) Drift specifications * 1/10 RC Fire Dragon 2008
  8. I check the photo I read from the magazine against the attachment here. The one I read seems a bit bigger than those shown here, around 1/7 or 1/8. Nevertheless, here are the scan some of it....
  9. I can recognizes reading some of these beauty in RCword (a japanese magazine). They are pieces of gem. Such as the Brabham BT-46 Alfa Romeo being mainly hand made chassis and gear-chains from TGR and it has the same engineering characteristic of having a rotating (Gound Effect) fan at the back. The other one being the JPS Lotus 86, also hand maked and with wing shaped side-pod, skirt and twin chassis as the rear car. In the journal it described having excellent road holding thanks again to ground-effect. ...
