  1. Thanks alot. Makes the waiting time shorter :-) I did order it at my living place. I found a dealer which made me a really good deal. Ordering from overseas wouldnt be cheaper because of the shipping cost. But my badluck was, that i missed the 1 batch so I have to wait for the 2 batch. Or I oder it from another place but that means another 100.-- US. So the decision to wait wasnt that hard
  2. Just order mine. But got to wait 4-6 weeks. Try to find a online manual of it but wasnt lucky. Does anyone of you have a manual as a pdf or so and could mail it to me? Cheers
  3. Bad luck. Would have been to nice.
  4. Very nice. Where got you those rear tires from?. They just lock like the ones that I need for my WW. Besides, it looks much better with those tires.
  5. Sorry forgot to add the picture. Here we go :-) Greetings
  6. Hi Thanks for the inputs. He got oilshocks in the rear. They came with the kit. We also tried without does little pen springs, but it was no difference. I think the problem is that the rear axle turns up when you accelerate because does little springs which should keep the axle in position are too soft. This is why its better when the hornet is driving backwards. Than the axle does not turn because its already in the down position. Please check my .doc, there you can see it better. Greetings PS I hope my english is not too bad, havent use it that much since school :-)
  7. Hi guys My neighbours son has a Tamiya Hornet. I helped a little building it. To day was the rollout and everything works fine. But there is one little thing. The rearend is hopping around quite a bit. We checked everything and we are sure that we build it correct. The funny thing is, if he drives forward the rearend is hopping, if he drives backwards its much much better. On a asphalt road is okay forward and backward. But in the gras its very bouncy. Of course this is not a hightech buggy but my sons buggy (Sand Viper) drives much smoother it does not hopping on the rear. Does anyone of you have any idea what could cause that? Thanks for helping.
  8. @ Sega, its defently the motor. I took it out and run it on its own. The noise is still there. To all the others, thanks for your inputs. I think I probobly go with the BZ because I read the got some dirt protection, which I think is just what its needed for the places the trucks is run. I am just not sure if the TEU 101 Bk can handle it. What do you think?
  9. Hi Guys My son drives a Ford F-150. Everything is stock incl. the Teu 101 bk ESC. During the holidays he drove his truck alot in the sand dunes. I was alot of fun but the motor didnt like it to much. Now it makes horrible noise and I guess its time to replace it. Since I drove the truck too, I told my son, that I gonna look for a new motor. Now I am a little bit unsure which would be best, and I really dont now what are the differences. Since the Truck is used Offroad I think I should thake one that can handle dirt and stuff like that. Which one would you recommend: Super Stock BZ, Super Stock TZ, Super Stock RZ or the Sport Tuned. Is one of them okay or should choose another one? Thanks for your help.
  10. Hi First thanks for the help with my crawler project. The tip to use the Jerry Can from the WW2 was perfect. Unfortunally do the not fit on the Holiday Buggy which I am rebuilding right now. Does anyone Know where I can get some? I have checked ebay several times but wasnt lucky. Thanks and Greetings.
  11. Thanks for the input. I am not bad with soldering. But its gonna be a gift and my godson is not so familiar with soldering. He is just 10 and the idea was to give him something he can build on his own. And to build the complet lights by himself, I guess it would be to much as a first step.
  12. Thanks for the Input James. I did not say that I dont like the MFC02. Its truly a good thing. The problem is, it is very expensive and has alot of functions he dont want. So my thougts was that there must be a cheaper way.
  13. Hi guys My godson has a Ford F350. Now christmas getting closer and I asked him what he would like to have for christmas. The answer was lights for my Ford. I looked around but just found this multifunction unit (MFC02). But this is not what he likes. He just want to turn the lights on an off from the Transmitter. So I am looking for a unit which can run two frontlights, two backlights and 5 rollbar lights. Which he can turn on and off from the Transmitter. Thanks for your help. Greetings
  14. Thanks for the picture billg4. Its really much smaller @ b.m.t your are right. The Blazing Blazer Body on a CR-01 would be perfect. First choice for me. Unfortunally it seems that the Blazing Blazer wasnt that popular back than, (can't understand why, because I always loved that Truck) and therefore the chances to see a ReRelease are quite little.
  15. @ twinset, this must be a real quick lock with at least one eye closed. Sorry but in my opinion this ist really a ugly body. @ b.m.t, the easier way do it that way would be with a clodbuster body. I have already tried that, but the resualt was, hmmmm, could have been much better. another problem with all the newer bodys is that they are 180mm wide, but the blazing blazer was something around 200mm. So this extra 20mm gives you alot of opportunity with the tires and suspension. so we are still keeping an eye around, maybe some day there will be a Blazing Blazer Body again.
  16. I got a question from my brother. From time to time, you can find some repro parts form the Blazing Blazer on ebay or somewhere else. My brother is looking for a complete body. Does anyone of you know, if there is someone, who makes repros of the Blazing Blazer. I does not need to be perfect, because its no for a shelfqueen. The idea is to but it on a new chassis an race it against other trophy trucks. Since the Blazing Blazer is the mother of all modern Trophy Trucks it could be a nice thing. He may not win, but will look cool for sure. Cheers
  17. Thanks. So I will lock for another solution.
  18. If the towers are the same, the it wont solve my clearence problem. Unfortunally.
  19. I run into another problem with my TA02 build. The TA02 has the exact same wheelbase and thread like the old Holiday Buggy. And since I ve got a Holiday Buggy Body left, I tried to fit that on the TA02. The main problem is the suspension in front. Its to high. My TA02 used to be a Ford F150 and therefore has an offroad suspension. But were there not also TA02 Touring Cars? My idea was the get the Shocks and Shocktowers from the Touring Car Version. This should be lower and my fit better with the Holiday Buggy Body. What do you think?
  20. Thanks Mark. Do you know which pitch the pinion has ? I agree with the cornering. Its gonna be taff, my kids drive all modern buggies and the corner like crazy. Thats why I need a faster motor, than can I catch them on the straight line To off all, its still fun to drive these cars after all these years.
  21. Hi guys Yesterday after a really really big clean up in our hobbyroom, my kids and I found a brandnew 17x2 Motor a LRP ESC which is good for 15 Turn. I still got a brand new Tamiya Ford F150. Now was the idea, to put the 17x2Turn into the Ford. But I am not sure, if the really can handle it. We always drove this truck with the standart tamiya motor. And it was much fun to drive it. What do you think, is it worth a try? If yes, which pinion should i use for it? Greetings
  22. Thanks guys. I think "Tamiya 1/10" is right. I checked a WW2 Manual and the really look thesame. I will order one I will look how it fits. They are not that expensive. Here in Switzerland, they go around 5.-- The round lights from the Repro Hornet may fit aswell. But could not find any rectangular lights. But two out of three issues isnt that bad.
  23. Thanks for all the Inputs. The jerry can from the WW2 is really a good idea. I have to check that with my LHS. Complet forgot about the WW2.
  24. Hi I am looking for jerry can for my Crawler build. I got a Tamiya Buggy and took those Jerry Cans for a test look. The just look perfect. Now I try to find some of them, but they are hard to find. Also Holiday Buggy Style Lights would be a great thing. If anyone knows where I can get some of it, please send my a email (rcoldtimer70@hotmail.com) Thanks for your help. Greetings
  25. @Homeboi, sorry I aint got a showroom.
