  1. Hi members, Are there some differences between the old ones and the re-edition set? I know the color is gold for the news and the price is cheaper than the old ones! Anything else (diameter, width, marking...)?[8)] Thank's, François.
  2. Hi Roop, I've seen, in the trading room, you look for one long screw to assemble a technigold motor. I think I have two for you. E-mail me, I'll send you pics. Cheers, François.
  3. Hello Sim, I think it's another modified pic by yourself![] Never seen these plates without holes.....[?] Cheers, François.
  4. Hello, Is there anybody knows where I can find a website about the old Yankee cars? Thank's for your help, François.
  5. Hello, About the dual nitro engine monster trucks..... I've never understood why they put 2 engines on them? Why don't put one more power, bigger solo engine? 2 nitro motors = 2 more problems than one! I think one monster release with a "Zenoah" or "solo" engine (22 cc, two strokes) will be great and easy to use. Cheers, François.
  6. Hello, I think it's a good idea BUT don't COPY the vintage kits! It's better you create yourself your own model, you can use metal parts and blisters packaging like in the 70's. By example:Tamiya is molding once more the BMW M3. So, the real old spare parts are now undervalue (body, rims,....are easy to find now)! So, the Tam's collectors are desesperate to see that![] Imagine if Tamiya company rerelease the sand scorcher, absolutly the same of the old one. What does it cost for one old scorcher NIB kits? 120$? [V] It's the same with the real car, I've one Alfa GT junior. I'll be sad if Alfa Romeo rerelease this model now! We'ld see many GT on the road again.[8)] The time is past for these old models cars, respect them![] It's my opinion, sorry if someone doesn't share it.... (Like Pee wee, sorry for my english, I hope you've understood me![:I]) Cheers, François.
  7. Good question ML![8)] I don't know why....Maybe if you brake one? [] Thank's again for the holiday rectangular light you have sent me some months ago![] Cheers, François.

  13. Hi all, I collect some NIB Tamiya, most parts of SRB ones. I dont see the sense to have one expensive box shrinkwrapped! In fact, you can't see what contains this box inside (briks?). Just to open, in the evening, some of my boxes and smell the odors of old paper and tire rubbers feel me happy! [] Cheers, François.
  14. Hi Oli, I have the same problem as you! My slipper was burned (in the center) on my Savage ss. The hex black plate is enter inside of the plastic 49T wheel. So, I have putted one large thrust bearing between the clutch wheels and the pressure spring (in place of hex black plate. Now, it's better. [] Regards, François. P.S.: here is mine http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...d=19294&id=1042

  21. slipper clutch is not new.....remember on the vintage Wild Willy 1: a pressure plate pressed with a strong spring to avoid destroy teeth when you "wheelie Willy"[]
  22. The 2 main body parts are stacked up tightly, one on top of the other. I checked them carefully, pulled them apart and finally believed what I saw! Though there is one driver head and 1 sticker sheet, I am already dead pleased! Will post pics to showroom later. .....Maybe in the world, somebody has bough one wild one NIB, created by tamiya just after yours, without body? [8)][] [)]Poulpit
