Check this NOT ORIGINAL Hilux/Blazer rear bumper
poulpit replied to robysoldtamiya's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
Hi, Mine is the second one. It is no hard and when you push on it, it bend! I think the original one is a pressed part, not welding part! For me, the first one is an aftermarket piece. When you copy one part, it must have some differences to produce it (difference between the angles). [)]Poulpit -

Hi all, Thank's for your replies guys![] My friend needs a part for the midnight pumpkin QD. It seems to be the catch motor. It is too a "false fuel tank" and it use to mask the battery. I don't know what this parts, I didn't seen it and there are no manuals on Tam club to give you the reference part []! If anyone have or reconize this parts...... Regards, [)]Poulpit

Hi Roby, I have seen one difference, not on the hilux, on the Ford Ranger. Look in the 1983 RC Tamiya book. The body , just behind the front wheel is more longer on the pic than the reality. The wheel arche, in english language (?), is bigger in reality . I think the tire touched the body when you turned on the earliest models of Ranger's. What do you think about it?[xx(] Cheers, [)]poulpit.

quote:Originally posted by Racing Master Well, I really haven't thought about it. When you look in a shop, all the boxes are put up like this, aren't they? I thought it would be best to put them like this. Maybe I'll need to turn them around from time to time, like they do with champagne [] id="quote">id="quote">id="size1">Hi David! Yes, in the shops, the cars put on the shells like this ("stand up"? I don't know how to tell this in English, sorry!![8)])because it's the best to show it....but for a collector? I said that because I have one ss NIB and the blister motor is cracked due (maybe) to the motor weight! I think mine is stored "stand up" for a long time in a store. Styro peanuts are a good idea![] Regards from Belgium, David! [)]Poulpit P.S.: I have just met David by mail!! he's a nice guy! Thank's...
