Sad to read about the passing of Larry. Sent many a package to Killdeer. Serious collector and a nice guy.

Looking for a set of these, had some on the way and they were delivered to the wrong address, claimed to have not been received at the wrong address even though tracking shows it did. If anybody has a spare set please contact me scootmike@aol.com Thanks! Mike

Tough to find but Custom Chrome Products sold a chrome frame for the Blackfoot, bought 1 back in the day.

I would REALLY be surprised if they did a Sidewinder as I believe it was a Cox only model.

What's a Mk1 Vintage 58047 Hotshot NIB worth?
scootmike replied to kasparov's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
What is a never used MK1 bumper going for? Found one in some parts, never mounted, does have light storage scuffs -
The early Turbo had a black tub, white Tomahawk wheels and the roll cage without the spot light tabs. As far as I have been able to find out. In time I will build one!

Toyota Hilux High Lift Front and Rear Bumper Designs
scootmike replied to Pintopower's topic in TC Designs...
Wow that really turned out nice, great job, totally changes the look of the front bumper, was going to pull mine because it looks so out of place. After seeing your I'm rethinking that one -
Anybody have any pics or links of a Bolink Funco SS-1 Cut Down Body installed? Package tag says Bolink Industries 2388 Funco SS-1 Cut Down designed for use w/Tamiya? I have seen them shortened, this one is shortened and topless and comes with a wing. Pretty neat nonetheless. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121533652928?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I seem to be stuck in the 80's, nothing new really excites me, the re re's from Tamiya and Kyosho have caused a few purchases, but no real new styled rc. I did have to buy a couple of the 1/5 HPI's they are monsters. Have just about all the vintage I want, just need more time to rebuild them, will always be on the lookout for cool hop ups though, they are my addiction.

Your not the only one! Have always like the Beetle, sure it doesn't look like a Scorcher, the Beetle has that Baja look going on, I'll be picking up bodies for sure, also looks like the wheels will be available in satin chrome, will be all over them Bring on the Turbo next

Super Champ re-release - Fighting Buggy
scootmike replied to TWINSET's topic in Re-Release Discussions
Was hard not order the Champ, I convinced myself that having the originals was good enough, glad it was re re'd, was able to pick up a used original body for $24! Had to buy the Scorp, price had a lot to do with it. -
Kyosho Scorpion Re Release at Shizuoka Hobby Show !
scootmike replied to Blitz Supra's topic in Re-Release Discussions
Also see they will be offering the Beetle wheels in Black and Satin Chrome, will be buying some of those along with body mounts. Was a bit bummed about the rear body mount, had hoped they would make the body spring clips like original, would have worked for the Beetle and the Tomahawk. Great time to be in this hobby.
