  1. Well that didn't take long, 1st mistake was using a wax and oil remover, used it on metal, not made for plastic, went to rub the body down and it started melting the plastic

Used it on a small spot that I was able to sand down after it dried. Ended up painting 2 bodies, will put them in my showroom later tonight.

  2. I just ran into this today, I'm in the US, sold some parts to a guy in Belgium.

He asked me to lower the value, the problem with this is if I lower the value I cannot insure the parts for what he paid.

If the parts don't turn up paypal takes the full payment out of my account and sends it back to the buyer.

I'm fine with that as long as I insure it for the full value. I don't want to sell parts for $180 and get $20 back from insurance.

I guess the only answer is insure full value or don't ship overseas.

  3. Ha ha, too scared of burning my house down is more like it

I kid I kid, I've got nicads from 10-15 years ago, some older than that and they still work.

I do have some of the nmh's that I plan to use in my Hi Lift and some of the newer models I have, most of my old cars have old electronics, so they are happy with the nicads.

  4. I agree with Shodog, keep an eye out for an original, here is a link to an RC10 I bought yesterday off the bay, was really considering a re re, sooo glad I waited.

They are still out there, this cost a whole lot less than a re re, of course the same could be said of the Scorpion, but they are fewer and far between.

IMHO the re re Scorpion is actually an upgrade over the original.
