Thanks for the replies folks As far as stretching a willy onto my clod Well I was thinking more along the lines of shrinking my Clod to fit a Willy. The chassis on my Clod is a bit worse for wear but fixable. So I thought with a chop here and chop there I could get a willy shell to fit. Can someone tell me what the dimensions are for a Willy 2 shell please. And if I think I can make it work I may have a re,re Grasshopper for trade for a complete Willy 2 shell if anyones interested

Hello folks, I've recently got back into rc cars with the purchase of a re,re Grasshopper. And I've been bitten bad by the bug again. So I dug out my old Mardave Meteor and retored that. And i also dug my old Clodbuster out of my parents loft where it was put after a friend drove it under a car and smashed the chassis I've had this thought that I would like to put a Wild Willy 2 shell on the Clod . Is this possible?????? I don't mind modifying the chassis as like I said its been busted anyway. I hope someone can help

Thanks Max sounds like some good info . One other question, What other mods did you make to your friends Grasshopper to allow it to run a 15 turn motor. I would like to upgrade to something along those lines in the future. My main concern is the gearbox. Thanks Ian

So folks how do I stop my Grasshopper from rolling. I fitted a new 540 sport tuned motor to my nice shiny new grasshopper last night. Took it to work today to try it out in the carpark. Using it for about a minute and it's sliding along on its roof . This happened another two times . I heard they like to do this so I wasn't to suprised. But what can I do to stop it? If there is anything I can do?? Great fun witht 540 though. Especialy when one of the guys I work with had it literely smoking its tyres

Hello all. Go easy on me its been some time. I've just bought myself a nice new Grasshopper and I need some advice on parts. First things first, What battery should I get bearing in mind I want to fit a hop up motor. Do I go for 3000 Mah or 4000 mah? or something completely different? Next up what motor? Should I go for a standard Tamiya 540 sport tuned motor or should I go for something a bit fruitier (I am working to a budget so no 200 quid brushless set ups. Sorry) Last thing I promise. I'm going to be using my old Futaba attack r and I wanted to know what esc could I use with that set up?. That is all. Sorry for all the questions but like I said its been a very long time since I had an rc car and things have changed some what.
