Thank you for the tip, i didn't even think about the size issue. Your 2700kv should be even a better pic for tamiya but maybe the 3000 would go better with the reissue JJ or rc10cc.

I see they have these now at tower. Are these motors about as fast as a stock 540 27-turn motor? Does the torque feel similar or close? I like the idea of the small size, but I'm worried it might have too much torque and destroy these rere car's gearboxes.

Wow, I want this as well. Hope tower sells this so i can use those coupon and points from the JJ car.

I just like how it's so compact for a clean look. I was just concerned if the torque is an issue.
