  1. Yeah i agree automotive paints can be used. Both of my lunchbox's, pajero and scania have all been painted in automotive paints from halfords as the tamiya TS range of paints seem to be hard to get hold of just now.
  2. I too would go for the lunchbox. It looks great and is brilliant fun to drive but could do with some improvements, better suspesion, maybe 4wd, etc. So Lunchbox !
  3. I like what you've done with it. The inrercooler pipes look great on the front. The spoiler is really smart too. Where'd you get it ? The green on looks cool with the rear cut away. Makes a smart pick up truck !
  4. Rerelease. Lowrider kit fitted, full ball bearings, high torque servo, motor, no other electrics. Has box and left over bits. Front bumper on body has been cut where larger tires were fitted and has other holes drilled at the rear of the body. I still have the original suspension. Chassis is in good condition. Can show pics of chassis. Would swap for monster truck, something vintage or something interesting. Any questions, just ask
  5. The car that was disqualified from the 1966 monte carlo rally for having 'illegal' spotlights ?
  6. My blazing star has shock colars like that. Perhaps the ones from this chassis could work on your car ?
  7. Ah cool. Most things should fit then. Just need to find somethin i like. Think i'll def go for a japanese tuner car.
  8. Hi. Thanks for the replies. TPsolid, does the engine sticking out a bit at the front mean there is some bodies you can't use on the TA03F ?
  9. I've got my TA03F drifting well now i need to look the part. What drift bodies are cool ?
  10. I like the look of the ABC Hobby MR2 body for my TA03F chassis. However the MR2 looks to have quite a sleek and short nose which mite interfere with the way the engine is fitted to the chassis. Has anyone tried fitting this body to this chassis ?
  11. Well, whist stripping it down i discovered whoever had built it (me) had missed out the little pin that goes behind the wheel hex on one of the front wheels. All the power was just goin to one side at the front and the shaft was spinning
  12. Sorted it. Thanks for the comments !
  13. I have just built a blazing star which is a buggy version of the TA01 Chassis. When the car is driving is seems to be mostly rear wheel drive. If i lift the front wheels off the ground the rear wheels push the car. However if i lift the rear wheels off the ground the centre shaft turns but the front wheels don't turn. The centre shaft is turning and i have taken the gear cover off the front and the gears are all turning, the power just isn't being transmitted to the wheels. Any ideas ?
  14. Thanks for all the replies guys. You've been a great help. Think i'll use the M02L as the shelfer. Seems to be easier to get bits for the M04L.
  15. I have both these chassis but only one beetle body. I want to use one as a runner and one as a shelf queen for my beetle body. Also which other shells fit on this chassis for the one i will use as a runner ?
