Next time when I pass around at this HS I'll ask the owner if I am allowed to take some pics. Would that be of any interest for you guys? Anyway I have to stop at that shop next week to buy some parts for my Super Blackfoot.

I have a Hot Shot II and I need some parts as I am runnig out of working tamiya cars [] rear axles, maybe some gears in the front and rear gearbox, wheels .... Now I noticed that Hot Shot parts are not very cheap but somtimes old Tamiyas cars that are not so popular but use some interchangeable parts are a lot cheaper. Could anyone tell me which cars share the gears (& gearbox), axles (arms), rc-box with Hot Shot II ? One car that has many parts in common would be Boomerang of course. How about Thunder Dragon, Hot Shot I, Super Shot, Bigwig, Super Sabre, Thundershot, Fire Dragon, Manta Ray id="red">?

I own a Toyota Hi-Lux Monster Racer for years (bought it as a kid when it was released. [8D] You can see it in my showroom. Since the beginning I used a " Dynatech 01R " and sometimes 8,4volts. [}] I have NEVER had any problems with the gears , besides a broken bracelet (anybody knows If there is an aftermarket metal part availible - some us manufacturer made one years ago). Now I have a problem. [V] The diff seems to be broken or became loose or is melted. [8)] I took it apart 3!!! times and reviewed it but I can't get a solution. The diff slips and slips and slips. It is almost impossible to drive with the car because it can't accelerate How can I figure out if the diff is melted? Would it be helpfull if I make a picture and post it. I need advice or spare parts, as I am running out of Tamiya monster trucks []

I think my posting was to fast. Now I looked on http://www.rc-tamiya.de/tamiya/include.php...a2503e850344825 and found this. Kit# 58447 Audi Quattro S1 It says something about "CARSON-Exclusive Line-Set" with Tamiya TL 01 chassis. You are right [] I was just confused when I saw the package this afternoon. It looked different but as Tamiya changes the design of its boxes from time to time I thought it was a "real" Tamiya car. I didn't really look at it but when I arrived home I started wondering about what I saw.... []

Today I went to a hobby store in Germany. I saw a Tamiya Kit with an old Audi Quattro rally car (80s modell). Does anybody now this kit?

Some years ago I used to play a game called " Funk-Flitzer " . It came as full version game with a pc game-magazine. I think this game was made by " sierra " . As i said in Germany it was called " Funk-Flitzer " , maybe the internatinal name was " big fun" [?] I really enjoyed this game. It is a very simple game and the graphics and so on are not state of the art but I liked it [] Now I will look for Sierra Rc Racers Deluxe 3d Ultra

Can anybodz identify this Tamiya Chassis ?
DerAlex replied to DerAlex's topic in General discussions
Yes , sorry my mistake [] It should be I am not sure which ........ Me english no good [] -
I am exactly sure which chassis it is. Maybe it belongs to some Porsche Body [?]
-
Thank you guys . [] Now that I know how I can repair the body I would like to know sth else. [xx(] I would like to "protect" the rear end of the body when it does wheelies or when it lands on the rear end. I am thinkint about some kind of wheelie bar like midnight pumpkin has or some "plates" like monster beetle uses to protect the rear end. Did anyone of you build sucht thing? Do you have some pics? [?]

@JesterRace and TWOSTAR I found out that CA Glue means "CYANOACRYLATE (CA) GLUE" So far , so good. I do not know where I can get CA Glue in Germany. What about a material called GFK (Glasfaserverstärkter Kunststoff). I have a picture of what I mean: Isn't this stuff strong enough. Maybe if I combine it with the CA Glue and parts from CD Boxes. I need pictures of repaired bodies please [8)]

Maybe I am to stupid or to tired ...... How can I participate ? Does the car have to move or fly (it is a little dificult for me to drive and make fotos at the same time [:I] ) or can it be a foto of the car standing after driving ?
-
This is the chassis This is the car with the body What do you think? Worth restoring it? Need at least one new shock (front left side), and the front axles keep falling apart all the times because the pillow balls and ball seats are worn out. Then I would need 2 front swing shafts (bones?) in order to have 4x4 drive again. A new RC unit box, mirrors, tail lights would be nice to have too [xx(] I think this truck would be a nice hill climber and trail car because it has no diffs. What do you think? I hardly can remeber what it was like driving it.

Well , I did it. My own personal record. I destroyed a body even before I painted it [V] To many excessive jumps, to much power resulting in wheelies that made the rear end of the bodz scratch on the ground ...... 8,4volts, Technigold and bad friction shocks ...... [] I am not sure how I should repair this body. I do not know which materials I should use. Maybee some of you have pictures of repaired or restored Blackfoot bodies. Maybe someone can give me advice which materials I should use. I was thinking about "GFK" and some metal plates ????

Suspension mountain bikes!
DerAlex replied to Supershot's topic in Anything not RC related goes here
Cannondale F600 or 700 in scuba yellow , don't remember exactly[:I] I like the stiff frame, the look and the fork (fatty) Frame and fork are really worth the money. I hate the Cuda parts. Therefore I repalced some of them when I bought the bike. The paint work quality is not god for a bike in this $$$ range. I use it for hobby , I don't run races. -
Digital Ixus V2 megapixel isn't the only thing that is important [8D]

[?]What does EP and GP stand for ? I am a Neewbie []

It is not my photo [V]I just found it when I was looking for kyosho chevy on Tamiyaclub.com [] I will take some pictures of my chevy, but I warn you. The chassis looks horrible [] And since I am not able to pay for a bruiser I wantet to put a hardbody on this chassis. At least I would have some thing with a metal ladder frame and more than one speed [:0] EDIT The pictures are in my showroom now.
-
I would like to restore my Chevy but I am not sure If it is possible to get spare parts for this car. I am from Germany and I have looked @ the German Bay sometimes. I did not find Chevys [] Who of you Tamiyaclub guys ownes a Kyosho, Robbe Chevy? The white and red one is the original one. http://www.fototime.com/C343E15F000802B/standard.jpg Did someone try a nice Tamiya hardbody on this chassis ? Maybe Clodbuster or Ford 150 XLT, Blackfoot? Does it fit?
-
I found the Kyosho Robbe Chevy Stepside in our basement. There are some parts missing, I am not sure if I will be able to restore it. Are ther other similar Kyosho cars that share some of the parts?

I liked jumping over fire with Monster Beetle and Midnight Pumpkin when I was a kid. Did you know that Midnight can swim .... I accidently drove into a deep hole when we were playing at a construction side - I didn't know the hole filed with muddy water was so deep []

Hi I have a FF01 Chassis with Golf IV V5 Body. Now I am looking for pictures of FF01 Cars with the FRP Chassis set (Hop-Up Options # 53166) . It is usable for 4wd TA02 Chassis touring/rally & FWD car models. My problem: I have this kit but only the upper and lower carbon decks. I don`t have the spacers and I am not sure what belongs to this kit. I will make a picture and post it in my showroom. Please, I need some pictures of cars with the frp chassis set. [8)]

DerAlex replied to DerAlex's topic in General discussions
YES!!!! Today I went to the "Intermodellbau" in Dortmund (biggest german fair for RC cars, boats, planes and so on). And .... I got 2 Kits of #53037 -> Hi-Cap Dampers [][]I am so happy. I like them much more than the carson ones [] (showroom) -
Does anybody know where I can buy easy off ovencleaner in Germany? Or in the Netherlands or Belgium? Aren't there some similar products besides brake fluid?
-
@retro: Put some Monster Beetle tires (or some thing the same size) an a motor like 540VZ and you have a lot of fun and even more challenge ;) If that is not enough give it a 8,4volt racing pack [8)] See my Midnight in the Showroom (sorry that it had King Blackfoot tires when I took the photos - some years ago it had the plated Monster Beetle wheels, that looked a lot better).[xx(]
