[Pinions confuse me!]

More teeth -> higher topspeed but slower acceleration

less teeth -> slower topspeed but accelerates faster

[Who's got the 'bottle' to do this??]

To me this car looks better than the modern Tamiya (Space)Buggys.

At least this design is unique.

[Toughest kit to assemble?]

I had problems with the Midnight Pumpkin Decals (flames on the front left and right side). I had 2 bodies and put on the decals 3 times (one body was resored) but I still had problems.[!]

With Toyota Monster Racer, Hot Shot 1 & 2, Monster Beetle and Golf IV I had no problems.

I belive my Hot Shot was the hardest kit to assemble out of my Tamiya Kits.

[Should I scan my DECALS before using them ?]

Does it matter which format I save them (tiff, jpg, gif, bmp)?

Which resolution and format would you propose?

After some years I bought a Tamiya some Weeks ago.

Golf IV V5 ff01 - Chassis was in very good Condition but the Body looked awfull. Now I want to restore the car.

I found a NIB Body with decals []

I wonder if I should scan the Decals?

I remember somthing like a "Decal Database", I think I saw it on www.tamiyaclub.com but I can't find it right now.

I am also looking for the following decals:

Toyota Monster Racer

Monster Beetle

Hot Shot II

Lunch Box

Black Foot

PS: Which is the best way to remove old colours from lexan bodys (want to restore Hot Shot and Monster Racer).[V]
