  1. You mean these? They always appear on ebay and are cheap. Or do you mean these?
  2. Looking for the Bush Devil front bumper which is attached to the body shell, with the three lights inside and the two outside of the bull bar.
  3. Anything above the stock 540 motor is overkill on a Hornet and Grasshopper especially. I even prever to run the stock 380 with the Grasshopper cause the chassis is not really capable to handle more power and a 380 on sand is just easy driving. But that's a Grasshopper, not an Astute. The Hornet is just little better, but still it has same chassis which cannot really be improved unless you completely rework the suspension.
  4. 8x 1150 - correct. Just checked back with the manual.
  5. I still have several parts on the way, when they arrived I'll tell more
  6. cause I am having a project running where I need these pictures from an original
  7. Btw. do you have better scans from that magazine or in other words, would you mind to scan the pages and post them here on TC?? I am very interested in these pages. Thanks Thomas
  8. Yeah! I did the same right after I got the hint! Now it's a very nice soft suspension.
  9. Hi! I know I've seen somewhere in a showroom a picture where a RoughRider is standing on a vintage magazine where the original Funco SS1 racer is pictured. Anybody knows which showroom that was? I need that picture. Please! Thanks
  10. Nice idea! Who says that a SRB must have metal parts? All gear and suspension parts can be made by plastic. It would look great in black or dark grey, it would be tougher and very easy and cheap to make. I am sure they still have their old tools and prototypes of which they made the die cast metal parts. So it would be just a small step to make plastic die cast parts instead. I don't think that would be an issue. If they want, they will do. Also, there are no such complicate and multiplicity of parts as the HotShot has. A RR is a very simple model wich contains just of a few parts. And price for such a plastic replica RR would be still reasonable low. The HotShot is very cheap for its complexity. A RR could be at last as cheap as a HotShot.
  11. Even there is great number of very nice 2.2 wheels on the market now, I'd stick to the 1.9 wheels/tires. RC4WD is already thinking to make 1.55 wheels/tires which is very much closer to a 15" or 16" wheel/tire from real car.
