  1. Haha!! Funny. I have IB4200's and not noticed a problem. I have to be honest and say I don't take particularly good care of them. They get charged @5 amps on my peak charger, then used, then cool down, then charged again untill I finish bashing/ racing whatever. I've not really noticed a difference in them since new, but have had them about 2 years so they are due for an update. I'm a bit scared of lipo though!! Dunno why- I'm an old git stuck in my ways I suppose!
  2. Yup. I spent ages trying to sort it out, and eventually my toys went out the pram and I shoved it in the loft. Learnt 3 things: 1) Buy an axial that comes with instructions! (after point 2!) 2) Concentrate on my scaler 3) Don't buy more projects (Scaler killed the DMG project) when you've not finished what you have So my Tuber will be completed if it's the last project I do. I will be sitting on my wallet/ Paypal account untill it is done- Even If I cop out and plonk the whole lot on top of a standard Hilux kit!
  3. LOL! Bush Devil! I wont search for that cos I'm at work! I got some stange ones when looking up "motorised legs" For a pic to pinch for my ebay listing!
  4. Ooooh nasty! That'll teach him! I hope you get your money back cos I feel for you mate- I really do. What happens if he then keeps the Kit and the money?
  5. Only trying to shift the tat you sold me!! Boink right back atcha!
  6. Hi guys, I had to result to e(vil)bay. Ending soon are some shocks, Motorised legs for 1/14th trailers, and a Tamiya 302 ESC, Cheers Ryan http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZryanboard
  7. How old is your nipper? I would go alond the Lunchbox/ pumpkin route. Cheaper and simpler. With a 45t moror (cheap) would be really easy to control, the batteries would last ages and take about 25 mins to charge (2 packs would give almost continous running). Could be modified/ uprated to keep up with your kids ability cheaply too. Or a TLT? Or failing that a TXT?
  8. Hi and welcome! Jelous of your nice cars
  9. Looks better than some of their recent efforts. Might bridge the gap between scale and durability of a hard shell?
  10. Not me, but welcome all the same!
  11. Guess tongues were firmly in cheeks when that name was thought up! Bit like the Skoda 'Superb' (it really isn't) and the Mitsi 'Carisma' (It really hasn't). My favorite 2 though have to be the Vauxhall "Nova", which is spanish means "Doesn't go", or "Broken down". There are pleanty of rude ones too (!) The Pajero for example [in good ole spain again] means "To pleasure ones-self". Perfect
  12. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Welcome BTW! How about a "hippie" wagon with a load of flowers over it? Do them in different coloured vinyl (Really cheap on the bay) and you can peel it off if you don't like it!
  13. Doesn't work... Proxy detection something-or-other. An IT Genius I am not
  14. Hmmm... Sold out means they sold some stock?!
  15. Argh! Work web blocker again, which means now I'm more intrigued! Can someone copy/ paste the page up so I can join in too?! LOL- Thanks!
  16. An Anglia wouldn't do six thousand miles, let alond 680,000! Or go anywhere near 90 for that matter!
  17. OK. Yes- I'm a girl. I know, I know. But I'm just not gonna finish it. The list of parts I need for projects far outweighs the list of parts I can afford, and I want to start my Scale crawler, so I can at least use it this year! So the old girl is back on the bay. I'll be listing the chassis tonight, the wheels and tyres went on last night. PM me quick if you wanna make me an offer! Will be putting on before 9pm Cheers Ryan
  18. Hi mate- PM sent! Can I get first dibs on the axles?
  19. Haha! I just saw it once printed on someones T shirt and it made me chukle. Also like the one that goes: "I'm not mad- just ask my camel Stephen"
  20. Well said that man, and my point exactly. Unfortunately the traditional human defeatist attitue means not everyone thinks like you or I. You recon TC can do that?! I recon this might just be a good resource for people that can be bothered to save a few quid? Me too, so take advantage of that fact and PM the seller! Once you have bought from them the first time thru ebay it really is very easy. ARGH!! IT'S NOT!!! I give up [That'll be the defeatist attitue then ]
  21. I went for the Losi desert racer- I Hope that's as much fun as you're having! Ordered some paddle tyres for the back too
