  1. I'm terrible at maths, but I would have thought it would be about double that? every other variable/ factor I can think of would only slow it down...
  2. Maybe the seller was like me: I activly discourage international sellers by hiking up the price of my international P&P. The main reason is i tend to get more grief from buyers abroad than I do in the UK. Rather than getting a load of e-mails asking if I'll post worldwide, you can see I do, but it'll cost you. It maybe 'anti-social', but about 1 in 3 packages get held up in customs, or lost or damaged causing an endless stream of questions and taking up more of my time. When someone from a club (ie here) is all friendly when asking for a postage discount, that friendlyness soon dissapears when the item they have paid for doesn't turn up/ takes ages/ is damaged. My 2 pence.
  3. The mind boggles. Someone, somewhere thought that was a good idea. No wonder the world is falling apart.
  4. I'll flame you ...Wish I had a "spare" 400 odd pounds. I guess I could save but I don't see the 'value' in a 500 Bruiser-shaped rust-bucket that isn't that capable off road. Flame me back if you like
  5. How can you possibly get upset by someone who is willing to pay more for something than you are?!! You must get upset alot in life.... (not aimed at anyone in particular) If you are annoyed at the way they do it (sniping) then it's not illegal, so deal with it, or join in. I've kicked myself many times for not buying stuff, but it's part of the game. If everything came easily then it wouldn't be that rewarding, would it? Putting in a high bid at the beginning [suggested by alot of people here] is just stupid. I'm not made of money, so chasing 'the green tick' (winning bidder sign!) would become expensive. It is not human nature to disclose your intentions, for feel of not getting the best deal available. My views on e-bay are well published, so I will not mount the soap box again, but it is a nessasary evil, and a tool to be used to your advantage.
  6. I think the easiest thing would be to sell me your chassis and buy a slash...
  7. I saw an old guy (white hair, open shirt, white suit, jewelry!) with an old Testarossa with a number plate 5TUD. Half of me thought he was a proper loser, the other half was in pure kitch admiration!
  8. We race indoors on a Monday night, and these fellas are fairly popular there ( 3 guys have them) and race them in the super mini class. (M chassis, any motor/ battery). They win (being 4wd) so as a result more and more people are looking at them. I personally prefer bouncing my mini off walls to setting up 4wd chassis'
  9. I'm off on a dull training course, in a dull part of the UK, surrounded by dull people, interested in the dull training course... [get the picture?!!] So, I'm gonna take a NIB kit to build in my hotel room! The question is M-03m Tamiya Swift, or Metal Top Wide Pajero? I recon M-03m, cos it's easy, but I've built about 10 and it won't be that interesting, however it'll def be finished in that time period. But then I've never built a Pajero, so do I wanna savour it? Oh I don't know, and I've gotta pack...
  10. Only a few bits left now, and they are on ebay: http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZryanboard Admin please lock, Cheers Ryan
  11. I find it unbelievable that someone wanted to marry him! Nice cat, and cool name. But that look on his face is; "right, now to find somewhere to poop"
  12. LOL! My LHS has the new E-Revo, and it looks well smart. Wonder if that'll have the same issues?
  13. I have a BNIB bear Hawk body in my trades section if you're interested? http://www.tamiyaclub.com/trades_model.asp...83&id=21920
  14. Nope. You need ebay my friend. Here is a link to a search (not an actual item, is that allowed?) http://toys.search.ebay.co.uk/Nitro-engine...Z19167QQsaslcZ3

  17. Had a look and I don't fancy any of that thanks matey. I think it's time for a new job... My wages have halved in the past few months. What to do though?!
  18. Try these links mate: http://www.osengines.com/ http://www.justengines.unseen.org/ http://www.modelsinmotion.co.uk/category.a...&tamiya=258 http://www.apexmodels.com/product-search.p...t=man&man=2 [botom of the page] Now I assume you mean crystals? Every LHS {local hobby shop} will carry these. Or ebay. Is it a 27Mhz radio? If so expect to pay about 6 a pair.
  19. I can vouch for Matisse- Awsome service, and the cookies are worth just as much as the parts! Are the 'Mini' shocks for Tamiya M-03? If so I'll have them, Ta Ryan
  20. Sorry fella- The shocks were sold yesterday.
  21. No probs mate- I'm glad you found a use for the shells. 'Droop' set up shocks basically work the oposite way to normal, so resist being pulled out of their housing, than being pushed in. You should be able to re-position the internal spring the other side of the piston though. I'll try and get some pics up for you tonight. Cheers Ryan
