Hi Snake, so exciting...if you don't mind I'd like to post this thread to my web? will certainly quote this souce from you, thank you... I don't mind it's true or a hoax, it brings about discussion, debates, disputes and whatever it will be, it's part of my RC life, I do enjoy in sharing these info with my fellow readers. If it were true and will be released in June I will certainly take a 2 hours flight to Tokyo to get 2 of those as early as I can.... Thank you "Snake Plissken", you had a quite acurate soure of information that gave us much fun these 2 days, I had them all written in my blog, that our fellow Chinese RC community readers will be appreciated....

Surprise unveiling at Paris Model Show this weekend
Yangtao replied to thetamiyakid's topic in General discussions
Yes indeed. So far from the Tamiya Japan web site they reveal the 'surprise' to be a 1/35 French 2WW tank "B1 bis" and that's why they show it in the Paris Toy Show... not sure if there'll be any more surprise and as usual, the 'surprise' had usually be from the Japan Toy show in May. BTW, There is a interesting hint here as well... http://tamiya.com/japan/info/060406kakegawa/index.htm and it reads " ???RC?1?????????RSR934??????????30??????????????????" I think that is an event in Kagegawa circiut on May 7, with a corner commemorates the 30 years (since 1976) of the release of the 1st RC racing car Porsche 934, which sold at a histoic record of 100,000 kits and Tamiya released a limited "Balck" version to memorize the moment. That "Black Porsche", became a most wanted item and one was on Yahoo JP auction ended at 318,000 yen ($2,890) in Aug 16 2005. Check the report here http://blog.yam.com/tamiyaclub/archives/379574.html That car, #58001 Porsche 934, had a sweet story about Tamiya's coporate culturet in detail modeling, as it was derived from the 1/12 static model. To develop that car, Mr. Tamiya decided to buy a real 911 Turbo and dismember it into pieces to produce the modes I had the photo in flickr in my trip to Tamiya office in Shizouka in March...have a look http://blog.yam.com/tamiyaclub/archives/cat_173945.html -

Tamtech Gear The Frog will be released in Japan on April 01
Yangtao replied to Yangtao's topic in General discussions
I was in Super RC in Akihabala, Tokyo last week and saw they had the first sample It's an XB type of package with all necessary components, will post the pic I took in Tamiya Shop in Shizuoka -
Hi Retro, rinkya.com can not handle Yahoo Taiwan Auction, I can help you if you need one, the conversion kit, or the car set. Just let me know before it ends 3 days after.
-
Compared to local auction deputy sites (Taiwan), rinkya.com is a much more profitable one, but easier to pay. However it's the only way for people outside Japan to enjoy the vast RC stock and trade from Japanses market, and we knew that already Jason's auction items sourcing from it too. Even if you do not understood Japanese it's fun to browse the RC section of Yahoo JP.
-
Sorry to correct, it is on Taiwan Yahoo Auction
-
This is a local Yahoo auction you can't find and bid over yahoo.com I just bought one, and after the post, 3 other sold, still 4 left. There are also full set available, 15 sets, see xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Please not live auctions links unless they are yours.

A very insteresting kit, ask for only $50, found in local Yahoo Auction..... click image to see more

I really appreciate 56001 as it's the first Tamiya RC product back in 1974, althought it's an out dated trans design using the cluch system and lead-acid battery, the plastic works are perfect compared to nowaday full-fuction version, it has metal track and metal gears as well It's 32 year old now, to keep one is to keep those beautiful memory of my younger ages...
-
I must add that these pic are from current Yahoo Auction JP and it will be removed after the auction page here, if you fail to view them.... Conversion parts were from Tech Racing and other manufacturers

That's enlighened, this is a wrong info then...sorry, stupid me Sorry HPI!
