  1. Here's a mad bull with an ezrun 4600kv on 2s lipo, driven by a 7 year old. its the closet I can do at the moment.
  2. Not really but I did put a 4600kv castle motor in my wr02 camper van and that was the reaction it gave. I'd imagine the lunchie is capable of similar behaviour. I have to say though, with the castle motor, it could self right, until I started snapping driveshafts and I changed it for a milder 3300kv. It's not as much fun but I haven't broken it since.
  3. It's not fast enough until it does standing backflips 3ft off the ground when you blip the throttle. Lol Check the 6s lunchbox in speed run thread for more details.
  4. Its actually the same wheelbase as the Terra Crusher, just the Clod is faster so the wheelbase has caught up on the Terra because it is slow. The Clodbuster doesn't jump, it actually pushes obstacles down. and when you floor the throttle on a clod, its actually the world moving backwards, not the clod moving forwards.
  5. The Clods a fair bit bigger than the lunchbox, You can sit a lunchie on the bed. lol
  6. That's the one I meant, an old receiver pack will fit in.
  7. It's worth noting that the standard 4x AA battery cradle fits in this. I did buy a mini 2s lipo but think the kids will be better with the 4xAA batteries. Just ordered rechargable ones from hobbyking.
  8. It is an interesting little kit. Looking forward to hop up CVDs. That's the only bit I didn't like. The driveshafts feel like a weak point.
  9. No speedo in uk kit, also missing a cool AA battery pack that is only in Japanese kits.
  10. That beetle with the pumpkin flames was mine. Don't have it anymore. I mean you noticed it in one of my pictures.
  11. The Blitzer is crazy fast on 4600kv and 3s lipo. https://youtu.be/6ElfCpHXzE4 And a 3s fits in without too many mods. Just got to raise the battery strap a bit.
  12. Forget about the tamiya battery size, just get the biggest 3s lipo you can and strap it on the roof!!.. Best speed increase per pound available.
  13. I cut out the body first, not done stickers yet. Might start the stickers tonight.
  14. I just finished the bottom deck, not got servo's yet, have to wait now. Nice little build though.
  15. Thanks @KEV THE REV I got 2 from Time Tunnel.. Happy now. Ordered bearings. Looking for servos, esc, might just go brushless. Not decided yet.
  16. Thanks, James. wheelspin models are showing it in stock. Might have to reserve one and drive there to get it. Shame on modelsport. They said 8th August, (my birthday) showed it in stock, but no delivery confirmation and now, no stock. Shame on you modelsport. You did exactly the same thing last year with the 6x6 konghead. I got fed up waiting and built my own.
  17. This was showing as in stock when I ordered, now they say stock is expected in October????. No explanation yet, poor show modelsport.
  18. A couple more weeks until the snack box is released.
  19. My 6WD Tamiya would put the outcast to shame, wish I hadn't sold it now, might have to build another. Been offered a aluminium diff upgrade from the ARRMA distributer. Outcast owners, do a wheelie for for than 100meters and try not to explode your diff.
  20. Make that one more diff, this one was built and fitted at modelsport, this is my 2nd battery pack since then. At the weekend I ran one pack and the tyre exploded, so I swapped it onto front and glued it and managed to flatten the packs. Today I just melted another diff. I would upload a video but there is far too much foul language. I tried to make another video while I took the batteries out, then realised the exploded diff has ruined my battery as well. More foul language.
  21. I have melted 3 centre diffs, had a tyre explode, rod ends pulled out of suspension arms, bolts loosening off everywhere. Running it on a flat grass football pitch, had it 3 or 4 months and probably been in bits for over a month while waiting for modelsport to sort it out. Modelsport have been very reasonable, but I hate this truck now, want to sell it but cant pass this rubbish onto some other poor soul. Outcast I hate you, the next time you fail me, you are gone. Edit2ADD> I think I have only flattened the battery twice, every other time it has broken and needed returning to house for repair. Arrma built tough, compared to cheese.
  22. Had nothing but trouble with my outcast, not ran a full pack yet without it breaking, and not even bashing hard. Huge disappointment.
