I'm missing this, currently in storage, will have to fetch it out again soon and finish it off. And this, Legend says, That my Clodbuster is so big, it has its own moon, and that since I left it on my dad's windowsill, the entire town has been left in complete darkness ever since, as it eclipse's the sun. All we know is that it's called the Clodbuster

I almost bidded on a "powertoys flex" a big yellow toy car from the 80's that I had when I was a kid, it had flat tyres that expand to a balloon tyre when it got stuck, was thinking about an R/C conversion but I have enough to do already. Lol. There was another vehicle that had animal claws emerge from the tyres, would make a great novelty crawler.

Have you swapped over the hubs? Left for right?, This helps level the steering rods which reduces bump steer and may provide more space at the servo end as well. Long time since I had a blitzer, but I remember swapping the hubs over.

Lol, that's what I used to build Rocker Chopper. The chassis is the exact same scooter. Usual comission if the buyer builds a mini bike, yeah? @Grumpy pants Still accepting goats and organ donations and I can also advertise to the spirit world for a wider customer base!!. I could provide a "most epic build manual ever" just for Rocker Chopper to sweeten the deal.

American cars have turn signals!!!??? I thought they just made the horn louder. You should definitely leave them alone and just drive straight.. -
I thought I heard "Jamie Booth"'s name mentioned as one of the drivers in the old Tamiya mudbusters video?

Tracked Monster Project
wolfdogstinkus replied to Mad Ax's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
Track tensioner on a spring?. Just throwing an idea out there. Cool project, these things are never as easy as you imagine. Slot the bottom gear and fit a spring in-between it and the top gear to aid traction on the tracks? Slot the bottom gear and fit a super small CVA in there? -
I did a 4 link supported frame for my original monster beetle axle because I kept snapping that off at high speed as well. After about 35mph, you start breaking stuff. Lol
-
I bodged a lunchbox upright on one of the early cars or because I kept breaking uprights in my quest for 50mph.. I have some new old stock wheels but can't remember if I have fronts. I also have some of the Kyosho 14x tyres which are very close to the original spikes.
-
Sw01 tyres might suit the truck look and fit the qd wheel perfectly.

I got a pair of 12volt Pb batteries for a mobility scooter 12ah, I think the standard batteries are 9ah. But I was running 24volts(as standard), to the rear wheel via the larger capacity batteries, and 24 volts of the standard capacity batteries to the front motor Not a major improvement over the original speed, but recently it has been really slow and the extra punch seemed to wake it up a bit. Fast enough to be fun, slow enough to be safe

I'm dying to get some more cars so I can build another track to play,.. erm I mean for my kids to play with of course but I have to check its suitable for their age group. quality control. That's my excuse. Toys??, Mini4wd are missile's!!!!. Lol, great fun though..

Tamiya Showroom pictures being taken and sold
wolfdogstinkus replied to JYCM3's topic in General discussions
Some of the pictures have Tamiyabase.com as a watermark. None of the reviews make sense. They also have Tamiya "box art" for sale. Post a link to Tamiya America on twitter or something, They are selling Hilux monster racer box art. -

TT-02 build rear suspension doesn't look right.
wolfdogstinkus replied to stockae92's topic in General discussions
@stockae92 I believe the upside down shocks started with the re-release of the sand scorcher which was notorious for leaving yellow puddles on the shelf of your display cabinet. But that might have been scale accuracy at play due to the original beetle being well known for marking it's spot with some leakage from the push rod tubes. Or it could have been old age?? Do a smell test to identify any spilled fluids to determine their source, or maybe not if they're yellow. -
I read the Beano every week, not because I want to, I want to, but I had to check the content was suitable for my children before I gave them access to it. That's my excuse anyway.

Confused over motor choices for the Blitzer Beetle?
wolfdogstinkus replied to Jorgen's topic in Re-Release Discussions
Gearbox is bulletproof, it's the pinion that is made of cheese that does the damage. Steel pinion. DONE. Rolling wheelies at half throttle.
