Wow!, I just watched this video
, completely under water, I thought it was going to get washed away!, So thats why you put all those weights in the wheels?Watched the build videos as well now, really informative and well done, thanks for sharing.
There will be a bit of side to side play in the axles, I think it lessons when you fit the metal bearings, but you can buy shims to take that play up,
Sorry cant help with your drive problem.
E2A:
Is that both axles or just one?
Thanks for the link, I have a Kamtec VW splitty shell that I will be fitting at some point, untill then I am running it topless, it's much faster that way!.
Yes their website is not easy to navigate but I do believe they now run 1/10th scale buggies and truggies, and anything else up to 1/5th large scale petrol models.
E2A;
The blitzer body from the mould line on the rear wing to the mould line on the front wing is 250mm, but the rear mould line isn't in the centre of the wheelarch, probably 240mm from centre to centre. From end to end it is 330mm.
Width on the front is 165mm and the rear width is 185mm,
hope that helps
Might also be worth fitting some lead weights in the front of the chassis to keep the front wheels on the ground more often, there are loads of other mods you can do but I think the ESC and ball bearings should be done first, I will try and find a link that may help you
E2A: Would a higher wind motor not work for this?, like a rock crawler motor and that would be a straight swap with no other mods.
