  2. Sorry wasn't trying to be funny, just trying to show my appreciation, great build, great videos, whats next?
  3. You made me charge a battery , thanks for that!, do your sponsers provide new keyboards as well?, for all those people who have dribbled on theirs?.
  4. I wanted to say the same but you said it much better than I could , some say EMPI is the problem but the same applies.
  5. Wow!, I just watched this video , completely under water, I thought it was going to get washed away!, So thats why you put all those weights in the wheels?Watched the build videos as well now, really informative and well done, thanks for sharing.
  6. Yep!, it's on the data sheet, that Blacque Jacque posted in the plan view, it's what the brushes touch., hope that helps.
  7. I think it was me who viewed it 66 times, sorry I didn't reply, there was drool all over my keyboard , fantastic job!, and welcome to Tamiyaclub.
  8. So how does that compare to when it was originally released?
  9. Do you not get both links in the kit? , I think I have the smaller links left over from a Mad Bull kit.
  10. There will be a bit of side to side play in the axles, I think it lessons when you fit the metal bearings, but you can buy shims to take that play up, Sorry cant help with your drive problem. E2A: Is that both axles or just one?
  11. 31st of August??, thought it was meant to be July?
  12. Thanks for the link, I have a Kamtec VW splitty shell that I will be fitting at some point, untill then I am running it topless, it's much faster that way!.
  13. Thanks Twisty, wasn't sure if I was allowed to post a link
  14. Yes their website is not easy to navigate but I do believe they now run 1/10th scale buggies and truggies, and anything else up to 1/5th large scale petrol models. E2A;
  15. They used to just race large scale petrol models but I see they are now running 1/10th scale electric,
  16. The blitzer body from the mould line on the rear wing to the mould line on the front wing is 250mm, but the rear mould line isn't in the centre of the wheelarch, probably 240mm from centre to centre. From end to end it is 330mm. Width on the front is 165mm and the rear width is 185mm, hope that helps
  17. VW chassis Sorry, pics a bit small but you can see the similarity
  18. The scale aspect, the front suspension on a scorcher is very similar to the front axle on a 1/1 beetle.
  19. That's a Tamiya club members video I think and he means that he is doing a vid for the scorcher next.
  20. Might also be worth fitting some lead weights in the front of the chassis to keep the front wheels on the ground more often, there are loads of other mods you can do but I think the ESC and ball bearings should be done first, I will try and find a link that may help you E2A: Would a higher wind motor not work for this?, like a rock crawler motor and that would be a straight swap with no other mods.
