  1. Let me introduce IRN-BRU corner, The hardest corner on the track, some say it's made in Scotland from girders, other people call biscuits cookies, all we know is that it's called IRN-BRU. Long after Coca-Cola removed their "secret" ingredient, IRN-BRU were still using Irn. Looks a bit like a can the way I trimmed the top, if you squint a bit. Lol
  2. What's the difference between bus driving and bus diving?, If you don't mind me asking. Sat nav sent you in the sea?
  3. It's getting there.... Razorback got new batteries. Fire dragons batteries have slowed down a little but it still leaves the track sometimes, got to strengthen the inner lane a bit and it's almost done.!!
  4. Im still looking for a picture of the elusive Tamiya merchandise man,, Did I imagine him? Was it a dream I had?, Most likely a hallucination, but we'll say dream for now. Did anyone else see a picture of the legendary Tamiya merchandise man?
  5. You have to use Tamiyaclub for 69 hours a day to be awarded an avatar!!!. Maybe you're not "Tamiya" enough? I await someone to post the picture of our supreme leader, Mr Tamiya merchandise man!!, Who wears all of the Tamiya merchandise on his body at all times. When you finally accept Mr Tamiya merchandise man as your new supreme leader, only then, will you be festooned with a picture under your name...... Or, just ask Netsmith? I hereby nominate @Busdriver for moderation duties for all eternity.
  6. Choose Tamiya Choose a Clodbuster Choose squashing, and running over your competitors with the most powerful truck in the world. Choose pushing the world backwards when you accelerate. Choose from an endless supply of aluminium upgrades. Choose scanning the internet at 2am for parts that you don't need, Choose cheap Chinese tyres before finding out they are so badly balanced, running them on a Clodbuster could start an avalanche, earthquake or similar natural disaster depending on terrain. Choose Tamiya
  7. An old video of the last method of propulsion.. To the moon!!! It went a bit higher when I fired it. Lol
  8. Thought I'd better post my progress in here as well. 3 lane change section done. (May require fine tuning when the test subjects return) Sleeping in bed is for wimps!!!!!, I build track in my bed and sleep on the floor. Lol. Still got some work to do on the inside lane but it's getting there.
  9. The Papier mache is only to hide the edges of the cardboard, nothing structural. Mostly just hot glue and cardboard.. It does work really well, if it's fixed to the floor and not sliding around.
  10. This needs more exposure, I'm surprised Tamiya or Scalextric, or both? hasn't sent men in suits round your house to erase all previous evidence of your creations, deny you ever existed, make us all believe that we dreamed up the lunchslot truck by way of the "Mandela effect" and denounce these, as their own!!. Patent pending.. Oh no, I think you'll be fine, it's Traxxas that does that!!.
  11. I kinda thought this wouldn't work, if I left both lane changers it wouldn't do a full circuit.. But I carried on regardless..... Lol I'll just have to make another track, *I've got one spare bit so I have to build another complete one, ...... *Remind you of anything? Lol It's a disease, it must be, we're all sick.
  12. Got another coat of paint on the track, but left all the cars at my friend's house over 100 miles away. Also started on a 3 lane interchange section. Ran out of paint after doing 4 corners. So not done the straights yet but did get a little creative with the star from some Heineken packaging.. I'm going to try and replace the other straight for a 3 lane change and run another track inside??. Maybe? Lol
  13. Can I just add that last time I looked for dual motor ESC's, I may have decided on 2x budget brushless systems instead as the difference in cost is minimal compared to the massive performance increase, which is limited with 2 x brushed motors,... Let's be honest, before long, you'll want it faster...
  14. Got some paint on the track.
  15. Selling your Quick drives??? Shame on you, the only thing that you should do to console yourself is to buy more quick drives. The best thing about bashing 25 year old cars???. There's 20 of them!!!!. Baboom.... Here all week folks..
  16. A fart horn?. It's a normal horn, that sounds like a fart, surely to amuse any man from 5-99 years old. Edit to add, with dropping stink bombs to really make some unsuspecting couples uncomfortable
  17. It makes sense for a lunchbox to be accompanied by a midnight dunkin. As well as the cargo drop, ( banana skins spring to mind), you should be able to launch mini projectiles (mushrooms, banana skins, etc,) forwards by way of a mini trebuchet which can be reloaded with the winch.. Edit to add, it's getting late, or early in the U.K. Wolfdogstinkus steps away from the keyboard before re-inventing the radio controlled time machine that he invented next week.
  18. Cargo drop/oil slick. Number plate spinner, to change plates James Bond style.
  19. Pop up headlights, or a pop up gun. Lol. Beaten to it.
  20. Something like this is supposed to pump 2-3 ltrs a minute?? . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374058897664?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=l1k3hwrlqyo&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=AmMhQ-pWTKq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Don't know how much "punch" it would have for a pistol set up though?. And these guys to operate it. They even have their own hose.. if you're gonna do police, you'll have to do fire. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385251224173?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=tcnezrfvSQW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=AmMhQ-pWTKq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  21. Hid the nasty looking cardboard edges with watered down PVA glue and some scrap paper. From this,... To this Basically, just Papier mache to hide the edges of the cardboard. Still got to do the straight sections, I might even paint it, and draw some crazy directions on the track. More to come.
  22. Smoke machine. Oops, you got that already,. Self righting action but activated by a lever rather than furious anger like the traxxas self righting system.
  23. Water pistol. Nuff said. I was looking at mini pumps for a while with this in mind,, but if it's a police vehicle, you might as well go straight for the hollow points and forget water.
  24. Orkney?, You just wanted to be more Scottish than everyone else eh?. Teuchter!!!!. I'm currently in Fife but will be further north again soon.
  25. Which guy are you?. Who is the other guy?, And why are you touching his butt? It looks like he's smiling, so he must have liked it.. only joking, it's always good meeting Tamiyaclub members. I remember this one time at bandcamp,, Oh no, wait!, That's something else. Tamiyaclub 2012 I did think about a 3 lane track. It would be reasonably easy to add on to a future project now that I have a working model.
