  1. If you are after a cheapo!, get yourself down to ALDI's tomorrow to pick up one of these,... Clicky And maybe these will be handy as well? Clicky I have not used any of these products, so I am in no way endorsing them. Please let us all know what you decide!.
  2. Hi, Justsidewayz, Sorry, didn't mean to hi-jack your thread, I had my QD motor out last night and it is the same dimensions as the one you linked to, looks like it should fit, Thanks very much for the link, and let us all know how you get on .
  3. I was thinking the very same thing earlier, would need a smaller diameter shaft on motor though, or a different gear on the motor?
  4. Thanks for the fast reply TA-Mark, Is that motor the same dimensions as the one Justsidewayz has linked to? And the QD gearbox handles it o.k?
  5. Hi, Justsidewayz you have caught my attention, I would be very interested to see how you get on with this, I have a MB QD project, and I am also looking for more speed. Good luck with it and please keep us all updated! My quick drive beetle
  6. A few lead weights in the other side of chassis perhaps? You could weigh the componants (ESC and Receiver?) and the battery, and make up the weight using the lead for even distribution. E2A; HereBeMonsters beat me to it!.
  7. I didn't really need an answer for that!, should have picked a suitable smiley I suppose! This is a family site after all!!
  8. Surely this deserves a mention in here? But why in the morning?
  9. I have only just come on here and all ready you have given me loads of good advice, I will be sorry to see you go
  10. Happy Birthday Terry, appreciate all the work you do here!
  11. This may be a stupid question for an R/C event but,................... Can I bring my doggie? She never gets off the lead anyway and won't be any trouble!! and she loves camping!
  12. Loving the dueling buggies vid with your back yard track! , Wish my garden was bigger.
  13. Is there a beer tent/ bar? I may be interested if funds allow, won't know till nearer the time!
  14. Thanks Swarm, that's a good tip!, I may try that. and also thanks terry.sc, I am sober today and have a better understanding of whats going on thanks to all you guys!
  15. Yep , save your money and buy a peak racing motor, I had a 19T in my pumpkin and it threw it up on one wheel, currently I have a 18T ansmann clash in there and it won't wheelie unless I hit reverse first!, Gonna put the peak racing motor back in!
  16. I was talking about the number next to my username, you lost me with that DSR?, some sellers will not let you bid without the number being above a certain amount but that will not increase unless the seller leaves me feedback? still a newbie to all this internet stuff so please excuse my ignorance, thanks for replying though Jonny Retro but you have confused me further! (I blame the beer)
  17. O.k thanks, 4wdmt and skip665, so if I leave negative feedback then the seller will leave no feedback for me!, and if I leave positive feedback he may increase my points, many thanks for your fast reply.
  18. Hi all, I just bought some parts for my lunchbox from E-bay but have received no feedback from the seller!, Is he waiting for me to leave him feedback? I was expecting my "star points" to have risen by now but nothing as yet , I have received goods but have not left feedback yet. Thanks for looking
  19. Hi Butler, I got a brand new dead receiver here, acoms 27MHz, don't ask me how I killed it!, but the wire is intact! If you want it, give me a shout!
  20. Ah, yes I didn't spot that because you have to click on more options! Thanks Snakehands for pointing that out!
  21. I cant link to the auction as I have read the rules, but after the recent sand scorcher ebay scam, I thought I would let you all know that there is another one on the bay! If you search for sand scorcher, it should be easy to find, PS, Mods, I am sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place, I have not included the sellers ID as it could be genuine??
  22. I can get in there no problem!!
  23. I bought a cheapo Hi-tec zebra(I think?) and it had loads of glitching as well, caused me to smash my pumpkin, ended up taking it back to the shop and paying the extra for an acoms set! Looks very nice though, glad you got it sorted before you lost control and smashed it like I did!
  24. Not decided on the motor yet, not run it enough, it seems faster but has less torque and won't wheelie like it used to!, I had a 19T Peak Racing SV2 motor before and that was much better throwing the pumpkin up on one wheel when it wheelied!, my mate had the 21T ansmann clash while I was still running the stock silver can and his was much faster than mine at the time!, but anyway it seems to work ok with the tamiya ESC so if I upgrade again, I shall go with the EZRUN brushless set-up!
  25. Hey!!, that better not appear in quotes of the week!!!, out of context!! Yes, think the lunchbox mounts would work, but they are also very fragile!! I am sure I seen adjustable body posts, but couldn't find them! E2A:, Could anyone provide thre Tamiya part number for the lunchbox body mounts or a suitable alternative? I have looked at the manual on Tamiyaclub but it shows the Schumacher couger 2000??
