  1. I take it all back(what I said about these motors), my ansmann clash motor died today, less than 6 months old and not been used much, I had it in my pumpkin and soon realised it was rubbish so it was replaced with a 19T double Peak Racing motor, I recently fitted the Ansmann Clash 18T into the Mad Bull and it has lasted about a week!. Tried to run it today and it just won't move, the motor is free and will turn by hand but will not turn at all by battery, back to a stock silvercan in the Mad Bull now and everthing is working fine.

    Waste of £7 pounds :)

E2A: I just chucked it on the floor, and now it works again??, nope it's stopped again, I think it's proper dead now.

Edit again, It works again now after "dropping it" on the floor a few more times?, maybe something was caught in the brushes?, still not fitted it back into a car though.

  2. O.K so I have always said TAMiYA but since watching some of the original promotional videos, I have learnt that the correct way to say it is TAmeya, so how do you pronounce Kyosho, is it KEYoSHO, What do you say?

This could be the shortest topic ever?

  3. Thanks terry.sc, I noticed the other day that the tubes were not connecting properly and when I connected the plug it had actually pushed the wire out of the plug on the ESC side, time for a new connection me thinks,

Many thanks for your replys. ;)

Changed the connection for another tamiya one that I had and all is well!, Thanks again for helping.

  4. Standard Tamiya connector, TEU-101BK(standard tamiya ESC), ansmann 18T motor

The battery connection is becoming too hot to touch after a few minutes runtime, model is a Mad Bull.

What is the usual cause for this?, bad connection?

I also have a pumpkin with a 19T peak racing motor and this is running fine and cool with the standard Tamiya ESC,

I did try a search as I have seen this subject come up before but I couldn't find any relevant information,

    Please help.

  5. Heh - I'm very careful to keep RC tires away from our dog; I'm afraid she won't be able to differentiate between "her" tires and mine.

Yes, thats true but all my cars are out of doggies reach(That lesson was learned the hard way), had a terrible time trying to fix a bicycle puncture once when she was a pup, thought I had fixed all the holes and then found the exact amount again from the top set of teeth on the other side of the tyre, gave up and bought a new tube. :P

  6. I bought the R/C Light bulb set Item 50320 for my Pumpkin, it comes with the led holders and the screws and the power wire/adapter,

Don't know if the lights are the same for the lunchy but you get 2 leds for the front lights!

    Hope that helps

What part number? All I can find is this universal fit sets: Tamiya #53909 - Tamiya LED Light Unit (TLU-01) (Basic lights) and the #53937 TLU-02 which also has some functions.

As said, Don't know if it's the same set for the lunchbox but there is a set of these on the bay at the moment!, 50320
