Instead it has the later type turret and tool stowage. [:0]
Not the '131' shown in 2003 catalogue. Does have metal chassis and suspension, so worth it for spares![

I have an old Tamiya guide book that says:
540s motor: 11000rpm
380s motor: 12800rpm
These seem low, are they true for current spec Mabuchi motors?
Are there any websites that give motor specs?

How much is range shortened by using the 40cm aerial instead of 90cm?

What are 385 motors? Are they useable in cars/tanks?

Bought a tank on ebay- cheap. [
But, it has been badly built, glue everywhere. [8)]Is there anything I can use to dissolve it? Or must I just carefully scrape it off? Will very hot/boiling water do any good [?]

Just bought a car on ebay. Anyway, it is meant to have the end of the RX aerial wire fitted to a screw around the base of a metal aerial- like some tank models.
But, someone has removed the insulation a few inches from the RX,and fitted the screw there. Now some wire strands are broken. [:0]
Can I replace the aerial wire with a regular piece? The same length of course. Or is aerial wire a special type? [?]
Acoms RX. Is the aerial wire available seperately?

Are there two types of gearbox? Old and new? How do I tell the difference?
Who in the UK sells aftermarket parts, mechanical and cosmetic? Or do I need to buy from the USA?

What do you consider the ideal motor for a SRB? Which gear ratio do you use?
At present I have a standard 540 with the 15:70 gears. Using a Sanyo 2400 NiCd and old Futaba ESC. Excellent run time!
I mostly run on short grass or damp sand, nothing too rough.

How much difference in gear ratios between the two Tigers? Does it make any real difference?

] Can only use full steering lock at half speed (have ESC), any faster and it tips over.[:0]
Any ways to improve handling? I have softened rear springs. Does fitting CVA shocks make any difference?

All the SRB's have different tyres. Which are best on various surfaces?
Only the Ranger has wide front tyres, although a lot of later 2WD trucks have identical front+rear tyres. How does this affect the handling?
Finally, anyone run later tyres? What will fit [?]

I put my ESC behind the steering servo. Then a stickpack will fit in the radio box with the lid on. Put an extra long bolt up through the front box mount. This stops the battery touching the steering rod. [

By how much does their performance differ?
I think the Tiger 1 looks the coolest.

Where online in the UK can I get some quality aftermarket steering rods and ends?
I have some, but got so long ago, can't remember where from. LHS is only into planes. Websites don't show pics of accessories.[8)]
The ones I have are black plastic with a trapped ballbearing in the end. This takes a 2mm bolt (fits servos etc). Rod is coarse imperial thread. Long rod, cut to size. Anyone recognise make? [?]

What metal is the Jugg uj made of?
Do the srb ones get worn because there is no diff? I know on 1:1 cars locked diffs can break halfshafts easily.
