  1. if you're talking about tamiya, yes other brands like yokomo however, their drift wheels do not have grooves that seat normal the tires properly, so they dismount by themselves when you run them. bottom line, if the wheel has a seat groove then yes, if it doesn't then no
  2. it does not have all your requirements but you might be interested in the HD hero GoPro motorsports. this is the camera i use to shoot my rc videos while being followed by another rc
  3. vdf ta05 from the house in QC is 335 USD, Futaba 2.4 2pl around 135 USD, body shells go for 30 USD, paint is 5 USD. from mangatarem, pangasinan
  4. something just looks wrong with the mold
  5. I'm from pangasinan too! Anyway: You can check out LiL's in makati - park square, mandaluyong - sm megamall, or quezon city - ayala trinoma mall Champion hobbies, a house in scout delarosa street in quezon city sells tamiyas also, they're cheaper for obvious reasons.
  6. if its a round area, such as a round headlight, you cut the decal and over lap the decal on the headlight, otherwise, no matter how sticky the decals are, they will not stick properly because the area you are covering is smaller than the actual decal. this is similar to other rounded panels, badges, etc. picture would be helpful
  7. take the body out of the box, cut, paint and decal and build the kit
  8. No they won't you need to match the width of the tires and the rims for it to fit perfectly together. 24mm tires to 24mm rims. or 26mm tires to 26mm rims. also, tamiya tires have poor traction in cement roads, i suggest you get tamiya rims and get hpi x pattern tires.
  9. i have been buying more tamiya kits and shells over the past 3 months than all of my other tamiya purchases combined. not a single problem with decals, missing screw of parts or any defect. in fact the decals were too sticky, that if you applied it with the smallest air bubble or misalignment, the decal would deform when you reapply it due to it being very sticky.
  10. don't get me wrong, i'm a cheapskate myself and i have 5 tt01 based cars and none of the high end kits not into racing, i just like keeping my finished bodies on top of a proper running chassis. for the price of one TRF416, i can buy 5 tt01 kits here in the PI, perfect for my purpose
  11. forgot to mention that the TT01R type E has metal diff cup joint, dog bones and wheel axle
  12. I decided to measure the weight of my body shells... *i always paint using all the contents of 1 tamiya paint can unpainted Z4 M coupe lightweight is at 100grams unpainted Z4 M coupe is at 140 grams painted Z4 M coupe lightweight is at 110 grams painted Z4 M coupe with muffler, light unit and 7 sets of bulbs is at 200grams painted posche 2007 gt3 is at 150 grams painted bmw 2009 m3 gt2 is at 140 grams painted nissan GTR is at 140 grams I guess lightweight hop up body shells are just 40 grams lighter
  13. TT01: base chassis for all TT01 variants, non adjustable, plastic everything, includes esc, some kits have body shells with light unit. for the other versions its simply a TT01 plus added hop ups already contained in the kit TT01D: oil shocks, sport tuned motor, alum motor heatsink, adjustable front and rear upper arms, drift tires, has body shell and light unit, can use stab link set hop up, can adjust ride height TT01R: oil shocks, GT tuned motor, alum prop shaft, turn buckle tie rods, some blue screws, adjustable front and rear upper arms, 24mm rims and tires, no ESC, no body shell, can use stab link set hop up, can adjust ride height TT01 type E: exactly the same as TT01 but with enhance A and D parts, which are parts concerning steering, front uprights, and stays. TT01D type E: oil shocks, sport tuned motor, alum motor heatsink, adjustable front and rear upper arms, drift tires, has body shell and light unit, can use stab link set hop up, can adjust ride height TT01R type E: oil shocks, lightly tuned motor, alum prop shaft, turn buckle tie rods, some blue screws, adjustable front and rear upper arms, 24mm rims and tires, no ESC, no body shell can use stab link set hop up, can adjust ride height overall value for money: TT01D type E plus street tires if you plan don't plan to drift rc for cheapskates: TT01 tuners: TT01R type E
