  1. Great car, great photos. Hats off!
  2. Well, it isn't my intention to argue the wonderful work you did but, in my opinion, it would have been far better if Tamiya gears have been used (DN01, DF03, FF03 & more). I guess in UK Schumacher's parts are easy to find but around UE it could be not the same. Last but not least it's opportune to consider that Tamiya, normally, keep in production its parts for several years ensuring spares availability.
  3. Great to know... I've lost your Topics since now
  4. Thanks form remember it @Badcrumble
  5. Does anyone know if there is a AYK 86J Lancia Lc2 1/12 body repro? Thanks in advance
  6. And the Toyota became a Porsche. This is the best I can do as painter. Thanks all for watching anc comments.
  7. You forgot the "please do not shoot the piano player" signboard
  8. Other parts (imperial uprights & spur adapter) have been stored in case of necessity.
  9. Some smoothness and strength have been added using hopups or other Tamiya parts.
  10. BE1 washer+2 original spring washers+1more spring washer+M4 self locking nut
  11. Yesterday after the first real run I had to clean my RM. To well clean the diff I've removed the nylon nut but in repacking it I've ruined it. This evening, after a mumbling session, I've found the parts to rebuild it without buying a pack of nylon nuts. It's the Tamiya magic :-) TA-01 dna :-)
  12. Not today but yesterday evening: tried to do some order in this chaos:
  13. The portion close to the enclosure was dirt indeed and i stopped the car there only to shot a pic or two, but for the rest there was "only" sand. The car handles well but, of course, smoothness on the trigger is a must... if not the car spins with the wheels straight also. I'm amazed by my self Before next time I have to find the correct setting of my EX5 to prevent casual spins and to prevent mistakes.
  14. After some windy and rainy weeks finally a sunny day, what a better opportunity to finally drive my RM-01! Well, I found a skate field near my parents house still dirt (sand carried by the wind) and wet for recent rains and I ran it for almost 20 minutes: amazing! I have to admit that it could be my only car. Of course it's a car to drive with velvet hand in silken glove but it's fantastic. I've used the ugly painted original body... The Parma's one is still to paint. Sorry for bad pic.
  15. I agree, the front end is much light... if I'm not wrong, in the good old days, people were used to mix fishing sinkers with epoxy in the attempt to mold weights for rc planes/gliders. I've planned to do the same wiht my CC.
  16. Well, it only partially concerns the approach angle: dimensions are a part of the problem, the rest is about its shape. A different shape allow the front end to slide and the stock one drag and stop on obstacles. Be brave, grab the saw
  17. Mate... it's the time for you to start to think to remove the front brick
  18. Ahahah! To be honest in the kitchen and a -very- little in the parking lot near my parents house: amazing! Can't wait to drive it on the outdoor basket field near home! Unfortunately there is strong wind and a lot of beach sand in the air :-(
  19. Of course, but my butterfly touch did some damages :-D
  20. I've lost my good hand when I was used to (well) paint fantasy miniatures
  21. Only a quick look but seem good... I'm not an expert but not bad IMO.
  22. Original body have been "sticker bombed" last week trying to replicate my Astute and Monster Racer style but is quite harder with a group C body Surfing the web, and with not much money in my prepaid, I've found a Parma Pse Exp Speed 8 Lw for 3 Euros, couldn't resist...
  23. Well guys, I'm going to buy a new body and try to paint it properly. Probably I will buy the same Tom's body but, I ask to you all, I want to know uf there are some alternatives.
