  1. I have had the Scania R470, i currently own the R620 & the M.A.N 540. In my opinion for the sake of around £50 it is money well spent as most units in 1:1 are 3 axel anyway. I guess it comes down to a few things really, personal preferance, money or even a specific model in mind to do a replica of. Personally i'd go for the new M.A.N or the R620 and not the R470. The only downside with the 3 axel units are the chassis are a touch long.
  2. To be honest Ste i'd replace with a pair. I'm not sure of the value of one and if they are not the same value they may not work. The other reason for going for 5mm led's is that if they are going on a Euro truck they will fit into the light clusters better than 3mm.
  3. I used 2 x 5mm White LED's and wired them in parallel...... This tutorial will help and you don't need a resistor. http://www.theledlight.com/ledcircuits.html That is my light test and shows you it works lol
  4. Hi Ste, I have just put a load of LED's on my Scania and not had any problems. It was just a case of trial and error and only use the light sockets on the MFU. Regards, Russ
