Bag Of Badgers

We will be in a "Premium Beige" otherwise known as "Galaxy Grey" 57 plate Civic. Just spent the last 3 hours fitting (another Badger bodge) Tamiya wheels and tyres as I thought it best to give the bandit a run out with the new packs and it shredded the Traxxas tyres ! (never seen that before, must try harder) See you all tomorrow. ATB Matt

What I am hoping to bring: - Traxxas Bandit - GV Mammoth (just trying to fix the clutch!) - Boomerang (with a winger body) - Luchbox - Gravel Hound (on road only) - Hilux Monster Racer (if I have the space) And the good Lady has: - Blackfoot Extreme - Beetle M-04L - Baja Champ (it just loves abuse) - TamTech-Gear Hotshot - HPI MT2 Many batteries and chargers to add to that. The 2 nitros can be to much of a pain so might give them a miss and I am going to get some Cake thing of some sort! ATB Matt

Hi all, Just looking for the time we are all meeting up. I was thinking about 11am (we will probably get there before that)? Just got some 8.4v hump packs so will be trying to cycle them quickly . (got adaptor to fit a tamiya plug to the packs for anyone that wants to try some 8.4v fun) Any news on who is coming? Looking forward to meeting Wrc action and your Dad. ATB Matt.

Just out of intrest, did Mtroniks quote you a price for putting a longer shaft in the motor? They did not even sugest that to me. Hope you get it all sorted. ATB Matt.

I think I understand your problem, is it that the pinion shaft is too short with the plate on the motor? If it is, the answer I got from Mtoniks is that you need to speak to Schumacher and get a long pinion (have not done it myself, yet as it was ment to go into a Boomerang ). I have got about a 75% mesh across the gear with the plate in postion on my Gravel Hound at the moment with the standard pinion, not good (well bodge, really), but it works . Hope this helps? Dont talk to me about French cars; I know your pain, Swedish cars are just as bad ! After reading all the problems and looking at the weather for the weekend, Im starting to think the same. Would it be good idea to postpone for a few weeks as it seems that many had date clashes, it would be a shame not to use the great looking area suggested. Looking forward to any suggestions. We, are still up for it, it's getting difficuly around here to find a decent place to bash! It will be a good day out and we are/were looking forward to it. I have a cunning plan of action (so cunning you could brush your teeth with it!) that may make the 1st good for us. So dont worry about the date, what ever would be fine, hopefully . I think the speed is not what she is after, were just bedding in a HPI MT-2 that is hers and I have a Great Vigor Mammoth that I have resuscitated from having a good sinking, moral of that story, dont let another friend drive something that you want to enjoy, ice and water underneath never a good mix. She is just getting some fail safes for them now and some oil shocks for the Lunch Box and said a Hornet looks fun and now likes the idea of Tam Tech-Gear! June the 1st is not good for us, (slaps head, Doh!) . Off to Twickers to watch the rugby on the Saturday and friends have invited themselves over to stay the night after. If we could just encourage them to leave early/or not stay! Would not want to invite them as the last time they were over while handling one of my Airguns decided to point in the direction of Kaz (says he has used guns before, please feel free to use and short descriptive term you like, I DID) ! If that is the best date for every one else, no worries, I'll just look forward to the pics and vids! I was so hoping to give my Subaru Lunch Box its first outing and bash our Nitro's.
