  1. Hi all... I have lost 2 spring retainers from my super-mini cva's fitted to my M05... I need some more pretty quick.. will item 53876 do the job.. I know they are 1mm down, but WTH? 1mm lower is 1mm faster round the corners..!! lol..!
  2. Google for Kamtec dude... there are some beetle shells on there... He used to do Tamiya "copies", but some kind soul grassed him up to Tamiya I hear!!! However, he stocks some shells in ABS and Lexan that will look good.... look at the Kamtec "street rod" shell for starters!!
  3. cheers tony dude... post it up when you've had a looksee...
  4. Hey you guys... anyone have an opinion as to when the Stadium Thunder was released... and did they release a QD/RTR?
  5. [/size]SOLD SOLD SOLD... Tamiya lexan shell, inc. 2 motors, steering servo and MSC.. c/w with driver figure.. Kamtec Monster Beetle ABS shell, inc. motor, steering servo and MSC..(LRP runner speedo in the pic was dead..) slight paint damage to offside roofline... offers invited or PM/email for further details... cheers...
  6. I have what to all intents and purposes is a Mud Blaster... it started life as Blackfoot, then went to a Mud Blaster as the BF shell disintegrated... I popped on a lexan Brat/Muddy shell finished in box art, then went on to paint up another in Subaru WRC blue with goldline wheels (like the real thing), then added Tamiya WRC decals... But as the BF chassis is red it clashed with the Scooby blue paintwork... so I changed out the red chassis for a grey chassis and it looks tons better... This eye-catching project is now for sale as a General Lee Blitzer Beetle project is waiting in the wings... the sale includes a steering servo, 27t stock brushed motor, MSC and a 27meg receiver.. I'll even throw in a driver figure too!! I'll offer it at £70 INC POST
  7. Consider this:- metal shield (MS)- minimal drag, high maintenance but low price.. Rubber shield (RS)- more drag, zero maintenance but more expensive.. Teflon shield (TS)- minimal drag, zero maintenance most expensive.. Do the math... TS are a bit more pricey but they are worth it IMO if you are being competitive..
  8. Rather than topping out at the end of the straight, aim for 2/3rds along the straight... this will enable you to brake in time for the first corner...!
  9. Now sorted.. mods please remove..
  10. Willy chang rocks.. top tc'er.. helpful and knows loads of stuff...

  11. Hi y'all... can anyone help me out with a BB manual please..? I've tried to download from TC but the computer doesn't seem to like it..! so I'm a bit stuck.. Tamiya base and tamiyaUSA doesn't have a BB manual on their websites... can anyone email me a file of the manual or does anyone have a hard copy/photocopy they are willing to "share"... thanks a lot guys...
  12. I stripped the Blitzer Beetle project chassis and stuck 'em in the dishwasher... came out lovely... As I didn't get a real close look at it before dropping the cash to the seller, it was kinda refreshing to see that plastic bushes were still present and everything was still nice 'n tight... could turn out to be a bit of a bargain this one..!
  13. The [You have currently downloaded pages] message on the manual page has been there for absolutely ages, months in fact... Could a kindly mod take it in hand and see what the problem is...
