What is the best charger to get for a TEAM ORION SUPER DUTY 2400 MAH battery. I don't have a lot of money to spend on it. So be gentle. List name and price if possible.

Does anyone have a battery charger they would be willing to sell? Mine stopped charging and I can't figure out what the problem is. I have check the connections and the fuse and all are in good condition. Mind you, this charger that I have has been servicing mine and my brother in-law's batteries for the past 12 yrs. I don't have the money to replace it,which realy bites because I just got my blitzer fixed. My battery is still taking a charge, I brought it to an indoor track thats near my house and the guy working there said "the battery is fine, but the charger is toast".

I was wondering what is the life span of a standard battery pack. I have a team orion v-max super duty 2400 mah. Its only a few months old.I run it completely dead, let it cool off, and then recharge(if I am going to take it out again), I have a 15 min charger w/ trickle. I follow the instruction on the back of the battery. So the question is how many years will a battery pack last.

Dumb reply from a somewhat newbi, but are the connections in the right ports. I had to take my blitzer apart and was having the same issue, then I realized I plugged it in wrong.I had the steering servo in the motor port and vise versa.

I took everything (gear wise) apart, cleaned it with W-D 40. Greased it all with fishing reel grease (only thing I had) and reassembled it. The parts look brand new going to take it out later today.I tried it while it was still on the stands, it sounded a WHOLE lot better, but, again that was without resistance.

What did you learn from your first Tamiya?

That its not a good idea to take a brand new R/C and run it full speed across ice and slide into a sewer grate sideways. It tends to break rims and bend the dog bones. A little expensive to repair 12 yrs ago. -
I took my motor off and tried to clean the gears including the gear box. I greased everything put it all back together and now it sounds like a cat stuck in a lawnmower. Any ideas as to what I might have done wrong? I did not take the motor itself apart, can't.

I'd like to go 1/8 scale, chevy style body, high lift, large tires. RC4WD R2, a Axial, or a pede trans. I have no clue what this is? sorry. There are some pics on rcdriver.com in the Show Us What You Drive forum, here is a list of pics My T-Maxx 3.3 scratch built Savage X My Boys (scroll down to monster truck) Hope this helps to better understand what I want to do.

I would like to build an electric monster truck from the ground up. Problem is I don't have a clue where to or how to begin, and the LHS in my area can only order misc. parts from the internet. I'm sure I can do that too. I'm looking to build a fast durible truck that can handle jumps and maybe even do a little mud running, 4+ ground clearance, kind of looking to make it 4w drive but not needed. I would like to make this a project for the summer for me and my 4 boys. How and where should I start?
