Thanks guys!

It's started............... Had some good runs today, really getting back into it! Was thinking of getting a couple more batteries, what would you suggest (i.e MAH)? Something for a good power/runtime balance please. I currently have a 1700.

Feel Its Your Duty To Pay More At Your Lhs?

I must admit my heart feels that I should support local businesses, but I understand where people are coming from on price. Modelsport are a great example of a business moving with the times. However I am lucky in that I travel around the country with my job, so if i pass a model shop I often am able to go in, picked up some good bargains this way. -
I can't wait! I guess I picked it because of the 'proper' bearings/included ESC, but she does look cool. I used Fastrax Yellow Glow (261), backed with Tamiya PS-1 white.

What did you learn from your first Tamiya?

I learnt that it was a great way to meet people in my wilderness (or teenage lol) years. And that the fun you had stays with you, it's nearly ten years since I last had a RC model, but just looking at my new SandViper takes me right back! -
Finally Done! Only run her up and down the drive so far, but what fun! Brings back great memories! Only thing is, building it was fun too............ I can see it won't be long before it has a friend......

Well so much for my last post - I have been able to do some! Rear suspension/gearbox, front sus., and main tub all done. Time to crack open the Acoms box!
-
Thanks mate. I am going to do mine as close to the box art as I can. Working away for a few days now so won't get back on it till the weekend. Be nice to have a R/C again, its been years!

Cheers guys. Have got the front uprights and rear uprights/motor/gearbox units done so far. Is it me or is there not enough grease supplied with the kit? I have managed to put a little on the bits that need it, but it was touch and go. Any recommendations for aftermarket grease?
