I dont know about the plastic primer.I just use the ordinary primer, white or grey as recomended by the colour. but other than that your good to go
-
just read your sig.nice one!!
-
Everywhere still seems to have their ranges of ts sprays pulled at the minute. But for the madbull and styrene in general ordinary halfords or hicote auto sprays work nicely.Do your primer over a few days,in thin layers with a good rub down between each.Keep your body and your paint warm( a jug of nearly boiled water works well but beware the pressure in the can increases when warm so hold the can a bit further back than normal) and away you go

Hi all. Ive just been sitting thinking about painting the lunchbox and does anyone know of a programme available that would let me scan a picture of car body in then do my own colour designs on it? Ive just had a bit of a go in windows paint but due to my mouse skills the effects werent encouraging. Does anyone use anything? cheers phil

Hiya. Not sure about car or buggy wise but the trucks are a fairly involved build. With the gearboxes to build up on them they are a nice challenge. They arent too complex but you have to take your time and watch what your doing. I should imagine any of the three speeds will be the same

At that price its worth it just to rob the battery, radio and motor from it.Anyway did you get a basher yet? or are you still looking?
-
the wheelsbase on the pajero is 9.5" wheelnut to wheelnut if its any help,so looks like it would fit lengthways
-
Its looking good so far Simon, but correct me if im wrong here.Dont the palfinger hiabs have a two part main boom? so it looks like yours when travelling but extends when in use? I may be wrong but i seem to remember them that way, might explain why the boom looks a tad short

Hi folks.Just a quickie about these trailers. Whats the best thing to do with the deck planks? i was going to give them a sanding and then give them a once over but whats best to do it with? a light varnish or yaught varnish or something,or does tamiya have anything specific for doing it? dont like the idea of leaving them as they are because they look untreated to be honest cheers Phil
