i`ve just installed me radio gear into me car and gone to set the esc up.the led on it blinks continuosly and the steering seems to only flicker if i place the tip of the handset ariel against the receiver ariel.the speed controller is the tamiya teu 101bk and the radio gear is an acoms transmitter and an acoms reciever,27 mhz with band 5 green crystals in.all batteries are fully charged.

what are turns?is it less turns (18-19) for racing and speed and more turns(27 upwards)for more power and grunt,like for haulers and rock crawlers etc?

what kind of interferance?i wish id known that sooner,i`ve just ordered a new transmitter

Is it right that if you have a mechanical speed control you need one and and esc you dont?or should i be fitting one anyway.all my others have had them but me pumpkin hasnt.is this right or do i need to get one

Right then,as promised some photos it will only let me do the one cos of file size so how do i resize the photos to get them all under the 500k limit? i have had three goes so we`ll do it this wayhave a lokk at these then and this you get the gist only one more,i promise thats all folks still undecided about the decals though. i`ve just looked at the member ridses and that left me even more unsure never mind jus to get a rough body now to run it and have some fun or

right the bodies made up but i reaaly am stuck with this one,do i put the decals on or just leave it with that gorhous shiny body?i i fit the decals how easy are they to remove afterwards without danaging the shell?

thats fine,just point me in the right direction will do nicely.Anyway after 4 hours last night the chassis is now complete. i think i`ll wait till im a bit more awake before i start the body.its far too good looking to screw up.one thing i did notice last night was a rubber tubing that goes over the bottom end of the shock rods to act as a bump stop.my last couple of lunchboxes didnt have them.they were bought used so the previous owners might not have fitted them, so is it a new addition that tamiya have put in to stop the motor bottoming againgst the chassis?i`ll get it finiswhed over the weekend and get some photos up to let you all see how its gone

ok next question is how?i had a pug306 and to run that i had to lift the body a couple of holes on its posts and clip them underneath as well to lift it.would it be the same or would you need to alter the shocks or the chassis somehow

Are these tl-01/tl-01ra scoobies any good for grass hard dirt etc,or are they better on a hrad suface tarmac etc?

so whats the differance between a king blackfoot and the blackfoot extreme thats advertised at the moment

Its probably been asked a hundred times before but how would you reset and then set up an mtronics speed controller.the esc in question is an mtronics viper,i think its a e23?

is it right the blackfoot is about 10kg weight?

just as an add on ive just seen the blackfoot extreme aswell.what are they like to build and avaible hop ups etc?

whats wrong with the kings?i had one and although its a bit steadt,being 4 wheel drive they arent too bad

I`m just having a look at a few things on modelssports site and can some one tell me,is the durga buggy TRF501X a more professional race type buggy,similar to a losi or an associatd(b4?)than something like a gravel hound/baja king. i take it the latter two are more fun type buggys for park/backstreet bashing?
