Decided to add a solid front bumper instead of the one with all the holes. Will sand the edges once it’s set. Beginning to mark out a canvas roof for it too - steel wire frame for the back and a hole cutout for the window. Going to ask my mum to sew it Found some nice fabric which should be passable.

Tank sales don’t fair well here, try some of the Facebook groups or eBay when they have a £1 selling fee.

Doesn’t take long to put the chassis together Futaba S3003 servo. Chassis pretty much finished, just need to get the esc sorted. I havn’t been able to use the tamiya ones as they don’t have a bec fitted. Probably have to buy a HW 1060. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Only started it today I got the bearings from Fusion hobbies, more expensive than China but no waiting game!

Depends if you want to drive it round with sounds or not I always build rc versions as they look good on the shelf and have the ability to be driven and have custom sounds. Weigh up how much it will cost to get a static version up and running. The hull etc is still aluminium. U.K. based? I have picked those up for around £50 - £90 depending on condition. They’re not worth an awful lot as the gearboxes are the older clutch type. If it was unmade and boxed, it would be worth more to a collector. No sounds or new electronics and would cost a lot to get up to modern standards. Having said that, if you are U.K. based and local I could be interested as I always like a Sherman. Adam
