Turned up with this beauty yesterday!
-
Rather nice present turned up yesterday [emoji1]

Finally got the exhaust stack sorted. Weathering and detail painting next, and that big ol' .50 cal needs painting. Ordered a camo net too, should be here 'soon'
-
More progress today - got the main body primed and painted. Painted the spare wheel green for a bit of contrast and added some tie downs in the form of paper clips. Stowage and camo net to add [emoji1]

Sold

This was my original one, albeit on a touring car chassis and not an original Hummer.

Thanks Managed to make an exhaust and cover for it today, need to get the bendy bits for it somewhere. Made it using a biro cut to length and then slid an exhaust cover from a 1:16 Tamiya Tiger onto it. Going to abandon the brush guard this time I think.

New tyres and wheels arrived - coat of primer and base coat and they on

Sold!

Reducing to £110 inc postage in the UK

Spent a bit more time on some of the finer details on the Humvee today. The spare wheel covering the fixing posts, rear bumper guard, bolts heads from a rivet and bolt set. Taken the front bumper guard off as it hinders the fitment of the body and looks too chunky.

Happy to discuss swaps with money your way for a Tamiya 1/14 truck, unbuilt if possible. Thanks
-
Once everything is painted and fitted it'll match a bit better. Ordered some new wheels and tyres and an antenna today. Going to sort out the radio gear once the Sherman and Lunchbox have sold.
-
More work on the Hummer today, snorkel fitted and .50 cal trial fitted. Do you think the guard is too big or about right? Looking at photos it seems ok.
-
Ah balls I thought I'd included postage, thanks for the heads up. It should be £130 posted UK. Open to sensible offers.

Making way for some new kits, being a bit naive I got the lunchbox on a whim but haven't bonded with it - not keen on wheelie trucks and would rather have a cc or cr chassis truck. Idea is to sell some kits and buy a couple of NIB Tamiyas to pop in the loft until I'm ready to build them, otherwise the money will get spent on other stuff. This is a re-re lunchbox, comes with original box, stickers, instructions and all radio gear, steering servo, basically everything bar the battery. I purchased it not too long ago, got it looking great and then played with it - freaked out at the wheelies as its pristine and I don't want to damage it! Not into shelf queens but equally don't want to break my kits! Hopefully the pictures work! If not drop me a PM and I'll email you. Looking for £130 posted UK. Adam Worked out how to add photos - see below

Making way for some new kits, lost a bit of interest in this unfortunately due to time I have free - wife has just had twins. Idea is to sell some kits and buy a couple of NIB Tamiyas to pop in the loft until I'm ready to build them, otherwise the money will get spent on other stuff. This is a full option Tamiya Sherman, minus the electrics but including gearboxes and motors. It has everything needed to make it aesthetically finished, just needs finishing and electrics adding. It has a Nick Aguilar resin M4A3E8 turret with metal barrel and incredible detail. I have included all the stowage and logs etc needed to make this look exactly like Fury. Even a war-daddy figure. Hopefully the pictures work! If not drop me a PM and I'll email you. Looking for £250 collected from Kent or East Sussex. Adam Photos sorted

After some spare tyres and wheels to fit the Hummer I am building if anyone has some lying about? Would buy the new ones but forgot to order with my stuff from Japan last week. Thanks Adam

Sorted - please delete

Some bits arrived from Japan and America today in the shape of a new Hummer body shell and a Mcfarlane .50 cal coast guard gunner. Swapped over bits from the broken body shell and working out how much plasti card I need to use. Plan is to add a snorkel, bendy aerial, new style wing mirrors, brush guard for grill, spare wheel and stowage. More soon Adam
-
Mcfarlane .50 cal and figure arrived this week! Looks very well detailed. May try and use the figure as a driver. Body not here yet and spare wheels due soon.
-
Body supports from hummer not big enough I guess? It surprises me the lack of detail actually - I thought it would be like the Hummer, not stickers to look like detailed bits.

Good hunting skills, mine are obviously useless!
