  1. hi all, Merry christmas to you all!!! santa brought me a slash 4x4, yay cant wait to thrash the slash!!
  2. hi folks, just started reading this thread and am farmilliar with this setup, i too had a fire dragon with ezrun 9t system and your right, the tyres lasted minutes but the chassis handled it well enough although i find with such high powered motors the buggy ages very quickly but its a blast to thrash around!!
  3. just received my slash 4x4 greg adler edition. all shrink wrapped. the missus wont let me near it until christmas day, wayhay!!!!
  4. i would love to see the fav back, they would proberbly rere the wild one aswell which wouldnt be a bad thing either, i would end up both!! what i like about the rereleses is that i can now afford all the buggies, trucks and cars i could only dream about as a kid and now see how they run with modern day motors, (brushless).
  5. hi folks, just looked on the tamiya website, they have a write-up and the old video for the Avante in the coming soon section!! this will be one for my birthday. always wondered what the performance would be like with a brushless set-up?
  6. it was beatties in cardiff for me. being only 12 years old naturally i did'nt have any money but i remember walking straight to the back of the shop to the tamiya area, i would drool over all of the cars and watch the videos for hours and if my mum was feeling generous she would buy me a tamiya guide book. good memories. i remember when they were shutting down i bought a ta03f mitsubishi evo lancer for £65 about half price at the time, ive still got it although a bit battered now. I,ve got the ezrun to thank for that.
  7. they look very similar to the cheap batteries i got from china on the bay. i bought 4 batteries and all of them were dead from new, i sent 2 back and they replaced them with 2 more dead ones. since then i have used vapex. i know this proberbly does'nt help much but i wonder how many people have had similar experiences???
  8. Thats great, just what i was looking for. thanks 94eg scott.
  9. Hi folks, I've got a brushless baldre that i use for general bashing. Most of the time i run it on tarmack, as you can imagine the stock tyres did'nt last very long. Im looking for some road wheels and tyres for it but i am not sure about the wheel fitment as the rear wheels have pin drives and the front wheels have what looks like 10mm hex drives. are there any road wheels and tyres that would fit straight on or have i got to do some fettling and get after market jobbies??? any help would be much appreciated, thanks again. scott.
  10. just looked on tamiyausa.com they have changed the title to 2wd, phew!!! buggy champ chassis it is then.
  11. Ive just looked on tamiyausa.com in 'coming soon' off road buggys. it say sand scorcher 2010 - 4wd offroad buggy. thats confusing?
  12. I cant wait for the re-re ss, i will buy one (birthday present from the missus) and body set to keep for a shelfer.
  13. hi guys, im experiencing probs getting onto tc too. same as a few others, i run on firefox and have tc home page as one of my tabs but lately(last week or so) it wont load up? you proberbly think this response is getting to be like a broken record but its starting to niggle. hope you get to the bottom of it soon. good luck guys.
  14. my first was the winch by radio tron i think. i must have been about eight at the time. i used it until it eventually broke. then for christmas in 1984 i had my first tamiya, the pajero. i thrashed that faithful little car for years. awsome. i still havn't grown up.
