Hi there, im looking to get a hot shot for my next project as ive finished my tl-01b and nearly finished my tl-01, What is a fair price to pay, im looking for the re-re, but not sure of a fair price, theres not so many on fle-bay at the mo'!(e-bay, i mock em, but u gotta love em!) Anyone got one they want to part with, im also after an extra shock if anyone has one! Ive seen one for 150 pounds, is this a lil too much! Also if anyone has one, how is it! Hi all, Due to women and work responsibilities I've been away for a while! Its good to be back, I've been pruising forums to see what you've all been upto! Good to see everyone enjoying the hobby! I have finally got round to throwing some paint on my new shell! (when i say new shell, i bought it about 12 MONTH'S ago! ) Its not the most original, but was inspired by a high lift put on here years ago! A few more mods on the truck, so here's the overall list: Johnny's Twin Det: Super E-Truck Esc. Ford F-350 shell. Adjustable upper arm's. Upgrade steering rod's. Beadlock wheel's. Axial Rock Lizard tyres. Steal Ball Bearings all round. 20 Tooth Pinions. Super Stock TZ Motors. Oil Filled Adjustable Integy Shocks. Alloy Knuckles each corner. Alloy C Hubs. Alloy Hex Fittings. 3700 Mah Battery. Alloy shock towers. High torque servo. Tyre paint. And 3 Kilo's of solder Think thats about it,Anyhow recent pics on my last post!

Go to halfords and get your own car colour, this will work a treat, if its a clear body . . . once u spray the colour . . . spray again with light grey primer. If a solid body, use a white primer, Just remember, more lighter coats take longer but get better result, J.

Need a real cheap esc, about 20 quid, anyone got one/know where i can get one! Just to stirr it. . . . blue would be nice, WHat do you think of my ride so far, chassis was free from my brother, and the rest cost a bomb, ;o)

Rotate the front motor! but its probably best to get tamiya 20t pinions imo!!!

Im gonna do up a trashed TL-01 with no shell into a Mustang, have just received the shell of the 200mm variety and have been looking at wheels esc motor etc! Whats next on your list!!!!!!

Try two washers on the outside of the wheel hex! should work real good! Your truck is lookin sweet Man!!!

i have not moed my lawn for atleast 12 months , so! any pollution i have caused should be erased by the amount of greenery in my front n rear yard! **** not moing the lawn actually makes me feel good!!!! :P

check to see if suspension arms are on the correct way! installing these back to front/upside down could alter the cars length!

Hardly any, the lizard tyres are approx 2mm thinner n 3mm taller! ill post a front shot when i get my new shocks! am yet to order some though! been lookin at the integy shocks for e/t maxx!

if u can solder ill sell u mine, wires were removed for an upgrade to an esc(only battery wires removed), also if u need OE wheel hubs, suspension arms, wheels, tyres, let me know!!! Think ive got those wheels on mine but in chrome!!!! good call! only down side. . . takes ages to swap tyres!!!!

Finaly got round to new tyres! They are Axial Rock Lizards, trying to go for a more scale look! off to halford now to get some break fluid for my f-350 shell, hope u like the pic, as always comments and criticism always welcome! well not always the criticism!

4wdmt, thanks, ive just had a look, everyone seems out of stock or out of price range Ooooh Raaaa! Just blown this weeks Tamiya allowance on some tyres (rock lizards) so no shocks or chassis this week! hopefully will purchase some shocks at weekend! IF ANYONE HAS A DET/DAGGER/WHATEVER put a post on, am looking for cool and practical shocks and always on the lookout for upgrades!!!

I know this might sound a bit anal, but here goes, Dirt tuned motor puts out 18000 rpm at no load, compared to 23000 for the Rz's, GET THE RZ's! but u gonna need a half decent esc and metal bearings! As far as pinions go heres an example: larger pinion 20Tooth is faster than 18Tooth at top end speed! 18Tooth has higher torque than 20Tooth, but bearly noticable! GET BIGGER PINION GEARS! Just not too big! P.S. how u liking the hotshot! was gonna get one but not too sure!
