Thanks, but I know that it is injection molded, but the description says it is "painted and trimmed". I don't want it if the body is already painted and trimmed.

Hey Everyone, Doe the re-re-release of the Pajero Metaltop wide come with a painted and trimmed body? The description on Towerhobbies.com syas that it does. This factors into my decision to buy it. I don't want a pre-painted body.

The Astute would be great as it is one of my favorite builds! Not to mention it still makes a good runner too. I would also love if the Wild One was released again.

If you go to Tower Hobbies and enter in the model number 84057, it will bring up the Tamiya Unimog kit at a price of $209. This is obviously a wrong description as the Unimog sells for over $300 on Tower Hobbies and that is not the model number for the Unimog. I think this is supposed to be for the Black Porsche. The body, wing, and decals for this car are worth more than gold! I had a brand new in the box body set for this and it sold for over $400 on eBay! Good luck on finding the parts and make sure you post a pic when it is all finished!!!

The Monsters of Touring motors were very cheap. I used to have a few of them and they only cost about $19 brand new. Not sure of the value of the ESC though.

Wow! A true legend! The first Tamiya based site that grabbed my attention years ago! Good to hear from ya!!

Some sellers buy thier kits from Japan though and over there they do not come with the ESC. So some sellers might not be taking it out to keep for themselves.

They don't work for me. I tried and when it comes time to check out, it states that those ad numbers were not sent to me and therefore cannot be used. :-(

The same exact thing happened to me! I sold a fully hopped up F103GT to some guy in Singapore for $300 and the day after I shipped it, I got the email telling me that it was not her who purchased it and all of her accounts, email, paypal, and ebay were hacked. I fought with PayPal over this for months and found a loophole in the Seller Protection Policy and called them out on it...the next day the loophole was corrected and they screwed me over. So I was out $300 and the car! UGH!!! I am still furious over this and it happened about 5 months ago.

Tower Hobbies has the CR-01 listed at $425!! YIKES! I know it will come down a bit when it actually gets released...but that is pricey!!!!

I used a brush on the wheels with Tamiya acrylic paint and then I sprayed a clear coat over top!

It looks awesome! It is amazing what a driver figure can do!! ya gotta paint the middle of the wheels black now! Wait until ya see the difference that makes!!! i think i may have to get another one these since I have since sold the other one!

Looks GREAT! I really loved the way it turned out when I added the black paint to the wheels and added a driver figure. I remember when it was all finished, I could not stop looking at it! I actually sold this one, but I plan to buy another and do the same thing to it again!!
