glow plug good ?? glow ignitor good ?? carb needs tuned, go back to stock specs, read the little motor manual if you have it for needle settings. make sure you are cracking that glow plug loose when starting too, or the roto start will rip the one way bearing right outta there !! first thing i do to a rtr savage, is remove the roto !!! brian o'

USE 540 SIZE PINIONS, AND A SMALL PIECE OF ANTENNA TUBE SUPERGLUED INSIDE, NO NEED FOR SET SCREW, IT FITS PRETTY TIGHT, AND YOU ARE NOT REALLY DEALING WITH THAT MUCH POWER ANYWAY !! I USE IT FOR MY MINI T !!

your getting there !! i would have the 6 cell where it is supposed to be, and wire the 2 extra cells up near the hole for the battery wire, your really losing alot with the battery in the back there, you should not need the wheelie bar, and id be willing to bet that when the wheelie bar hits the ground, your flipping over sideways anyway, right ?? you got your diff locked ?? if not do that now, will be much more fun !! 2 part putty epoxy, works great !! just make sure you keep the putty in where the 2 small spider gears mesh, do not let it outside over the edges or your counter gear will hit it !! gee, have i done this before ??

novak super rooster should handle it well, worked in my clod with stock 540's and 14 cells !!

the tire hopping issue was not a problem, i had foam lunchbox size tires, so neither was wheelspin, it was the perfect combo fit the gh2. and as far as steering, it was not possible, it was blast down the street, slow down, turn around, and blast back up the street. one time i did steer at speed ( for what reason, i do not know ) and with the 51 merc body, it was pretty slipstream, the car started to lift from teh ground, air got under it, and it went right underneath my car, upsided down, and at top speed no less, so it was pretty buried under there !! i actually had to lift up on my car and get the gh2 out from under there !!!

i should have a set or 2, email me tomorrow night, i should have looked for em by then !! check out my all chrome cab in my showroom !!

about 15 years ago, i had my gh2, lunchbox size rear tires, the crp front rims that were the same size as stock gh2 rears, and a 9 turn trinity nuclear assult. just a 6 cell, wasnt into getting special custom size packs as i am now, and a 51 merc body. still got the car, motor and body, my savage does 40 outta the box, the gh2 was faster than that, but only problem was with the "high tech" 1200 scr batterys of back then, i got 4 passes up and down the street, but dam i liked it !!

i used to just dab silver paint on it, your only talking about a very small spot !! if you could find it, the chrome alclad paint should work a little better too, it will match closer than silver, but you are still dealing with paint, not plate !!!

i tryed alclading a bf k parts tree, have quite a few of em, so i figured i could sacrifice one if i had to, it looked real good after shoting it, near chrome i would say, but would rub off on your fingers if you touch it, leave your fingers silver, so i took it to work and had the paint shop clear it for me, i thought that would be the ticket, it removed all the "chrome" look and turned it plain silver, weird how it did that ??!! so what did we learn that day ?? alclad chrome spray is for lexan only boys and girls !! chrome tech usa is your, our, only hope, he is good, he is slow, not nearly as good as factory tamiya, or ccp, but what ya gonna do ?? check out my showroom, got a monster beetle and a king cab he helped me out with, chrome from top to bottom, will be adding pics of a pumpkin the same way here in a few days !!

i have a few complete juggy 2 bodys and all trees, what all ya need and where are ya ?? im in the states.

i have a chrome pumpkin body, got it from ebay about a year ago, and i just got all the chassis parts together, ill be posting pics as soon as i get off my butt and re-register !! check out my showroom, and you will see the beetle and king cab i have, all chrome !! i have used the chrometech guy myself, he is pretty good, quality is still no where near ccp, i was kinda shocked when i read the first part of this thread saying he was ccp. the beelte and the cab both have parts on it he has done, my next project to him will be a complete wild willy parts tree set !! its in the works........

id take a set for front and rear, i got a all chrome pumpkin im working on right now, and all i got is some ugly white body posts !!! i want mine in brush aluiminum !!! im in the states too !!
